Annual family ski trip

Could NOT have been happier with our stay. The property is absolutely amazing and by far the most accommodating for our kiddos (ages 8-14). Plenty close to ski in and out of and the most amazing views in our 5 years of coming to Grandby. We would all HIGHLY recommend. Every step along the process from booking to check out was smooth and easy!

Keeping up with the Iglesias’s

I’ve been coming to Granby Ranch since 1995 and always wanted to stay “up the mountain.” My wife and I usually stay in a condo but this year, we asked my in-laws to come with their niece and nephew. It was a surprise. I figured it was the right time to get a house for the week and boy was I right. Toby’s house was perfect!! So spacious and the kids stayed downstairs as if they had their own house. Everything about it felt like “home.” We will definitely book again! Thank you again, Toby.

Amazing house!!

This place is absolutely awesome. The views are breathtaking. The house is perfect for accommodating a large group, with plenty of room to spread out and have each persons own space, as well as open common spaces for all to gather. The kitchen was the best equipped and stocked kitchen I’ve ever stayed in. Lots of games and activities in the house kept the kids busy while not skiing. Located just one house away from the slopes made access incredibly easy to hop right on and off with no issues. Toby was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, referring many things to do and places to go during our stay. Check in and check out was a breeze. First time to Granby Ranch, and will definitely return. Thank you so much for an excellent and unforgettable trip, and thank you for sharing your amazing home with my family.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay in Granby! The house has everything that we needed - all the kitchen tools, lots of towels, etc. The hot tub, pool table, ping-pong and board games kept the kids entertained for hours. The views from the back deck are the best in Granby Ranch - we also saw lots of wildlife and it was so peaceful. Toby was a great host as well, checking in with us before our stay and answering questions during. We love visiting Granby and will definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - roughly 8700 elevation - fabulous vistas - split layout 2 bedrooms up and 2 down with main living in the middle level . Everything was more than provided for by the host. Excellent recommendations for eating and todo was also communicated by host.

Second Stay and fantastic stay again!

This was our family's second stay at this home and it was fantastic again. It is located on the mountain in Granby Ranch with ski trails literally below you. The home is incredibly nice and well appointed. It has heated floors, which is very nice in the cold weather. The host, Toby, is great and very responsive. I highly recommend this property!

Just what we needed

We had a terrific stay in Granby and this home made the trip! What a view, what a location! Additionally, this home could not have been better appointed, it had everything which made meal time, bed time (crib and pack-n-play) and the entire visit that much more relaxing knowing that anything we needed was there. Fantastic Family Ski Vacation

The house is actually *on* the mountain with ski trails above, below and around it. Toby, the owner/manager, is awesome and super responsive. The view from the house is so breathtaking we commented several times that it almost wasn't real, but it is! We will be booking this house for our ski trip next year. I could not recommend it more.

Great location and great host

We loved, loved the back deck. The home is very well equipped with everything we needed. The large screen TV was very nice as was the cable service. A highlight of our trip was that Toby (the owner) was extremely attentive to every question or need that we had. He is an example for all owners to follow. Best property manager ever

We travel a good bit but Toby, the owner of the home, was by far the best we have ever experience. The house was beautiful and Grandy Ranch is a great place for kids to learn to ski. We had a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. Toby was so helpful in answering our questions. He even helped us get a Christmas tree! Highly recommend this home for families.

Home away from home in a beautiful setting

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Pictures don’t do the house justice as it was better than expected. Extremely clean and very well stocked with items needed for the week and there’s a breath taking panaromic view from the main living/kitchen area. This property is such a great floor plan/design for large families/friends/groups to both spread out with plenty of space to yourself and also to all gather together. Granby is a wonderful, family friendly ski resort and town and the host Toby is extremely friendly, communicative and helpful. A true pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this property and would look forward to returning to it ourselves!

Perfect In Every Way

This house is exactly as represented in the photos. It is a beautiful property with gorgeous views which is difficult to fully capture in pictures. There were 10 of us (5 adults and 5 kids ages 2-13) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the bunk room and pool table. As others have mentioned - Toby was such a good host! I have rented several homes through VRBO and he was by far the most responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing family vacation!!

Wow !! This house is breathtaking!!! The layout , the views and the location... perfect ! We had 11 people and never felt crowded. The house is beautiful!! It Was about 1/2 to Winter Park and 40 mins to Rocky Mountain National Park! Toby gave us great ideas on things to do !! We went white water rafting, Hot Sulphur Springs, Mountain biking, rented a boat on Lake Granby and visited the national park a couple of times. This trip Definitely exceeded our expectations! Thanks again Toby for everything!!!!!!!!!

What every AirBnB/HomeAway should be

This was a first class experience all around. This property was built, furnished, and maintained as a family's vacation home, not as a "keep costs low" rental property. The amenities are top notch and contain many features not found in properties designed to be rented all the time (DVR on the televisions, multiple washer/dryers, SONOS sound system, beautiful kitchen cabinetry, crate and barrel dishware). The layout is perfect for a group, especially with children of all ages, allowing socializing for different age groups in different parts of the house. So many smart design features in the house to make daily life fun and easy. Toby was a wonderful host going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would love to return back in the future and work with Toby again.

Beyond perfect!

I can't even begin to express how perfect this home was! Upon arrival everyone in our party was in agreement that it was better than the pictures and better than we could have imagined! We had a party of 11, 4 adults and 7 children (13yrs to 4yrs). Not once did we feel crowded, and the bunk room downstairs was perfect for a group of kiddos. Our kids basically had the basement to themselves, aside from us walking through to do laundry or enjoy the hot tub. The adults each had two masters on the 2nd story. One master has a very convenient little suite for a baby or toddler. The whole house has every amenity you could hope for including a well stocked pantry, great cooking utensils and cookware, 2 laundry rooms (one in the basement and one with the masters), heated floors, basic toiletries, etc... The garage is one of the best things about the house, especially if you are going to enjoy winter activities. There is abundant space to hang wet snow gear, store boots, etc. It became the "get ready" room every day before we headed outside. They also provided several sleds and our children spent hours going down the hill next to the house. It's super convenient to get to base camp at Granby Ranch. Advanced skiers, definitely could ski in and ski out, but with little ones, it was easier for us to make the 4 minute drive down the mountain. The skiing was awesome, we had a fresh powder day and two groomed snow days. We basically had the mountain to ourselves and never waited in any lines. Ski school was great for myself and for the kids. Check Groupon for rates on lift tickets. We also went tubing in Fraser and had a blast, rented snow shoes from Never Summer in Grand Lake and hiked a few trails in Rocky Mountain National Park. Lunch at Sharky's in Fraser was super yummy and fast - they serve breakfast all day! The City Market in Granby is very well stocked. We stopped at Whole Foods outside of Denver but it wasn't necessary. We mostly cooked in the house and had everything we could have needed. Toby was super helpful when we had any questions. To sum it all up - this home is find! We hope to come back again and again and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! Oh - and how could I forget - the views from the house are breathtaking!! Thanks for sharing your home, we are so grateful for such wonderful memories made at Granby, we will never forget this vacation!

We recently spent a week in Granby with extended family. We have stayed in houses across the country and this was by far the best stocked house we have ever been in. It had plenty of space for our group of 10. Toby provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. And the views from the house are amazing!!! It was a fabulous vacation!

Great house

The house was amazing and was very comfortable for 3 families during Spring Break. We had enough room to enjoy each other's company in the evenings, but also enough room to retreat to quiet parts of the home. The garage/mud room was a nice addition and allowed us to comfortably gear up/gear down. The only downside about the house is that it is ski in/ski out for experienced skiers. We had some new skiers in our group and they required a ride to the base each day, which was very easy.

A great winter break!

Traveled to this great ski-in/ski-out house with another couple and their two kids in Feb 2022. House was great for all eight of us and could have accommodated at least a few more if we utilized the queen bedroom, the foldout in the den, and the extra twin off of the second upstairs bedroom. It was nice that the two upstairs bedrooms both had en suite bathrooms. I don’t think either couple felt they had lesser accommodations - we’ll maybe the soaker tub overlooking the mountains gives the one a leg up! Regardless, after days of skiing and with the accommodating and open first floor, you’ll probably find the bedrooms are primarily used to crash after a long day! A few other pluses: the downstairs was a great area to let the kids separate from the adults and the heated garage was great for ski equipment storage and to get ready for the day. Internet was also never an issue even with multiple people streaming. Double dishwashers and washers/dryers were extremely helpful. The slopes are probably 50-75 yard walk down the road, and if you’re lucky like us and get some good snow cover while there, you can ski right back to the top of the driveway. The only downside of the snow was that we had to somewhat create our own path to the ski hill, but once the first few people made the trek through the deep snow, access was easy. Also, it is always good to have a good host, and Toby did a great job communicating with us before and during our trip!
