"Very much a Schitt’s Creek vibe in the best possible way. Rooms have been renovated and have comfortable beds and heat pumps for heating and cooling. The room rate was reasonable and the breakfast featured a number of toast/cereal options. For us this was a very much appreciated port in a storm during the recent rains in Nova Scotia. Mother Webb’s restaurant is right across the street for lunch and/or dinner and the motel is very close to the main route to Cape Breton."

"This motel is amazing. We felt like we were guests in the owners home. Our room was not decorated - it was curated!! Every detail was comfortable including the live plants. Check in, check out, laundry and breakfast could not have been better. They deserve many more stars than just five! We will return and recommend."

"The sun rises and sunsets were amazing! Quiet and peaceful. The cottage was a little smaller than expected, but enough. Bed comfortable.We didn't have enough time to see all we wanted to. Our hostesses was amazing.We must plan another trip."

"Quiet, peace-filled natural place to stay. The dome was well-maintained and very clean. We loved all the little extras like the grounding matt, the essential oil diffuser, and fireplace. The hot tub was the perfect temperature!"

"It’s a super cute little house. Wrap around deck. Everything you would need for a vacation. Not right on the lake but it was nice because it was within walking distance but private at same time. Bring water shoes no ladder on the dock but that didn’t affect us or our children. We will definitely be staying here again! Neighbour’s are great lots of families if u have kids. Easy entry when first arriving. We brought our dog and they loved it aswell. The host was very easy to get ahold of when needed. One thing to remember take screenshots of passcode and wifi passwords because no service once at the cabin. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"Our hosts (including their two dogs Milo and Enzo) were friendly and welcoming throughout our entire two week stay. They offered suggestions on places to go and things to do, which we found very helpful. Their advice on availability of fresh seafood, and tremendous help in obtaining and preparing fresh lobster, made a real difference to our trip.The highlight for us was the location, which was right at the shore, allowing us to enjoy uninterrupted ocean views, and listen to the waves. Beautiful, no matter what the weather.It is very obvious the owners take great pride in what they have created here, and rightly so. Their tremendous landscaping efforts are clearly a labour of love.We had never been to Nova Scotia, and certainly will be returning."
