Beautiful Spot - Beautiful Views

Property was exactly as listed and check in was seamless. Beautiful view from the deck and only minutes from Pomquet Beach., and 15 minutes from Antigonish. Cottage was spotless and everything you need is there. We would highly recommend it.

Quaint little reasonably priced accommodation near the beach

We had a nice stay here on New Years Eve. It was nice and clean inside and just as represented. There were 2 big dogs roaming the property which were friendly but a bit overzealous, and hung around outside the door, and made it difficult to come and go in our vehicle as they wouldn’t move out of the way. The sandy beach was a very nice walk although did require some gymnastics to get to. Also we saw a porcupine just outside the house and so recommend being aware if you bring your dog here - but we appreciated being able to bring the dog!

Better than we even expected - a slice of heaven in Nova Scotia.

Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. The house itself sits across from a beautiful body of water and we spent a great deal of time on the porch just taking it all in. The host was extra kind, thoughtful, and communicative. We cannot wait to go back!

The cottage was wonderful. It was cozy and clean with a beautiful view. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. There is a deck outside with a large grass area. We sat outside in the morning, but it was too buggy in the evenings.We visited Pomquet beach both walking (15 minutes) and driving (5 minutes). The hosts were helpful and responsive - check-in was easy. We would recommend this cottage.
