Beautiful location, so if you’re not from Australia, it may be perfect for you.
However, there were quite a few fails from me. Their own website boasts a café & playground. There is no café & a weathered old cubby house. I was told that I would not be charged for a black coffee, no sugar at breakfast, but ended up being charged $15!
I requested an accessible room for my disability. Although I was ‘upgraded’ from a room with 2 single beds to a room with 3 single beds, there were too many issues. The interior handle fell off the door - it had been held in place with toilet paper! The shared bathroom was nearly impossible to use and so filthy that I refused to shower there. The exhaust fans were so full of dust that the window was permanently open - onto an outdoor area where people could watch you. The hallway had the same rubbish lying in it for the duration of our stay. They key card stopped working, which required many trips up & down stairs to have fixed.
Stay here if you’re happy with backpacker-type accommodation, minus actual dorms.
