Had you informed me of the loose tap or toilet seat, I would have promptly sent my handyman, as exemplified by my prompt response (within the day) to your request for an additional set of sheets. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to hosts during your future stays as often these minor repairs can be addressed in real time so they do not impact your stay. I am a little surprised that these issues weren’t raised during your weeklong accommodation, especially given we had conversed on several occasions while you were staying. Each guest is left a set of towels on their bed for their personal use. We do have some towels in less pristine condition in the linen press available for use on the bathroom floors as well due to the fact that we are a pet-friendly property, a feature that allowed us to graciously accommodate your group's unique needs. It's unfortunate that your party didn't appreciate us accommodating your 5 guests (for the price of 4 guests) and 10+ show dogs (for the price of 1 pet) at the last minute during the high season Easter holidays after another host cancelled on you. While I am very appreciative that the show dogs were kept in cages externally during your stay as promised, I don’t think there would be many hosts who would have taken on this risk, so it’s unfortunate you didn’t value this additional benefit.

Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear about the incident which occurred during your stay. I have been letting out the property you stayed in (Gregory's Place) and Craig's Place which sits alongside Gregory's Place for a few years now on a short term basis, and haven't had this sort of incident reported to me previously, so may be a one-off incident. Unfortunately I can't control the actions of others, but am sorry to hear this has happened. I have had many positive reviews for both properties over the years, so believe to be a rare incident. As you noted the house does need maintenance on the outside which is anticipated to be carried out over the coming months. I do have this clearly noted in the details of the listing. As advised to you prior to your booking, while there isn't a garage, you were most welcome to park your car in the yard in front of the house as other guests have been doing in the past, so was a little surprised you decided to park you car on the street. I am glad that you otherwise enjoyed your stay. :-)
