The room was quite dirty, the floors had dirt & hair on them, the grout in the bathroom was brown, the loo roll holder had a thick layer of dust on it. Sheets and towels were clean. The room needed a light in the middle of the room and plug sockets near the mirrors.

Definitely worth another visit for longer next time to make use of all the facilities in and around the hotel. Loved the striped carpet and wallpaper decor - such fun. Best network of paths and parkland to explore I’ve seen yet. Staff helpful and informative. Excellent all round.

It was lovely and quiet and convenient for where I wanted to be. The only bad point was very poor lighting which needs to be addressed especially from a female point of view.

The property had everything you could expect.The rooms were modern, clean and spacious.The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a good selection of both cold and hot food and beverages. We chose this hotel because of the swimming pool which was important for our 4 year old kid. The downisde was that they charged us 5 pounds for using the pool and they would not allow children after 7pm in the pool which really left little time for our boy to enjoy it. If you are traveling with kids please check the times they allow kids in the pool.

We found the rooms rather dirty and run down. The rooms and some of the grounds are in need of refurbishment especially the family room we stayed in. The cleaning of rooms also needs improving. Lack of plugs in the room is inconvenient and the rooms are very dark with dark blinds, furniture and decor. Staff in the bar were especially conscientious, polite and attentive and the food was fairly good although the menu was a little repetitive. We had a particularly stressful event in the bar/restaurant with police attendance. The staff and Manager handled this well and moved all guests to safety until it was resolved. We enjoyed the pool area with our child although again it is need of some attention. Overall the staff and the bar/restaurant area made our stay but I am unsure if we would book again unless there had been refurbishments.

Self check-in but greeted by extremely polite staff who supervised me through the procedure Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. If you like a sports bar, it’s one of the best. . Selection of other eating options within very close, walking distance . Reasonable rate and would not hesitate to return.

I’d say the only things I didn’t like is that they ran out of food and the rooms are way too dark no main light in the rooms just a desk lamp, corner lamp and two bed side lamps. Would be nice if they have a room light

Tired hotel. 3rd stay in 4 months ,booked 2 rooms and moved rooms twice. Needs updating. Only one towel per room apparently company policy. Got extra towel at reception. Breakfast/bar staff good.

Minimal security and a gloomy room.
Yes it was clean and yes the receptionist and bar staff were friendly, the problems relate to the room. a) The ground floor is open to Joe public who use the Gym and Pool and there is no system to bar them from entering the floors where the rooms are located. b) The room was so gloomy, decorated in dark striped wallpaper with minimal lighting, coupled with an inoperative a/c unit and inadequate radiator; and a cold towel radiator in the bathroom. Definitely a room to be morose in!

Cancelled on the morning - offered the Holiday Inn. A shame stayed there 10 plus times in the past, and referred people there. Was my choice of Hotel in Swindon - not anymore. Obviously didn’t like the room rate I had got.

Nice getaway
Booked last minute for a couples getaway. Check in was fairly straightforward, room was surprisingly very specious and the bed was extra comfy and large. Lamp in bedroom did not work and there seemed to be no main light so quite dark in the room. Added touch of a dressing table somewhere to sit and do makeup and hair would have also been a nice added touch. Bar area was great and modern. Swimming/sauna was also very nice. We would return and recommend.
