"We stayed at the motel part of the village. The room was spacious and comfortable. All of our interactions with the staff were pleasant. It is a short and paved walk to the St Mary Glacier National Park visitor center. The only negative thing I can say is the exhaust fans in the bathrooms are on the noisy side.would definitely stay here again."

On the shores of Ducklake only minutes from Glacier Park, and Waterton Park park

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Living room was spacious with huge windows so we could watch beautiful sunrises over Duck Lake and sunsets over Chief Mountain each day. We really enjoyed having the grill and deck. Abby and Anna could not have been more kind and helpful before and during our stay. Location was very convenient to the East side of GNP entrances. Abby provided fishing gear for the lake and we were able to use a small boat with electric motor in addition to the dock. We saw a herd of elk from the deck and a momma brown bear and her three cubs walking across the road. Directions were easy to follow to get to the property. We could not have been more pleased with our stay or Abby and Anna’s hospitality. Thank you!"

New to vacation rental lovely 3-bedroom 2 bath on Duck Lake near Glacier Park

"The house is spacious and in a great location for the east side of glacier national park, especially for St Mary and Many Glacier. We really enjoyed our stay. Biggest problem is the WiFi, very weak and spotty and sometimes didn’t have internet at all. If you need to be able to work remotely or even place an order it doesn’t work."

Duck Lake West Shore, Just 15 Minutes from Glacier National Park!

Duck Lake West Shore, Just 15 Minutes from Glacier National Park!

10/10 Excellent
"Larry responded quickly to my inquiries both prior to arrival and while we were there. Good location - more or less between St. Mary and Many Glacier, which we loved. It was actually enjoyable to be outside the park a bit after spending the day in the park as it was quiet and peaceful. It was nice to have a BBQ as one evening we relaxed at the cabin and BBQ'd and we really enjoyed the deck, lawn area and fire pit. The house was well stocked overall, however it would have been nice to have a few more variety of drinking glasses (i.e. smaller glasses as well as some wine glasses) and some shower body wash or soap would have been helpful as well. Not a deal breaker though! It looked like some previous guests left bear spray, bug repellent and some sunscreen which was nice. Glacier NP is a treasure and we were thankful to find this cabin so we could visit our daughter who is a ranger in St. Mary! Overall it was a very nice, comfortable place that I'd recommend for others and I'd definitely come back!"

8/10 Good
"Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a 5-10 min easy walk. We visited this lake 3 times and saw moose 2 of those times. When visiting after dinner around 7, it was like the animals were paid actors. Deer all around, birds, beaver swimming, and a huge, bull moose. One of the highlights of the trip! Negatives: a small hike is necessary to get to the parking lot. There is not dedicated guest parking, so during the day the lot fills fast due to others not staying at Many Glacier wanting to use the easily accessible trails. During the day, it is hard to find parking. It was not a problem when we left for dinner and returned in the evening. Our room had a balcony but the bench and floorboards were covered in bird poop so not really usable. Shower was tiny and room definitely was warm for sleeping with no AC (but expected—it is July at a national park lodge, afterall)"
