"The building and grounds need maintenance. There's rotting window sills and rain damage on the ceiling, spots of bleach on the carpets and the doorknob of a closet came off in my hand. The TV in the room is incredibly small, the size of a computer screen. You don't come to a hotel to watch TV but like showers, you expect a nice experience. The breakfasts were ok, but not great."

"We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property in celebration of our son's graduation this weekend. Every aspect of our stay was top notch from the lovely location amidst the woods of Old Lyme and ecletic mid-century decor, to the extremely well appointed chef's kitchen and amenities throughout. Hats off to our host. Chris was the most gracious, accommodating, and attentive host that we've ever had- and we travel with VRBO quite extensively. We highly recommend staying at this property. You will not be sorry."

"This was the perfect location. The rental was clean, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. We felt right at home. Walking distance to many shops and great places to eat. Not to mention a great view of the marina/harbor.My wife and I do about 1/2 dozen of these 3-4 days trips a year and this was by and far one of the best we're enjoyed. Many thanks to our hosts - thoughtful and fantastic communicators. We look forward to renting this place again soon!!Jim & Paula"
