This unique, meticulously maintained rental boasts an open floor plan, hardwood floors throughout, the updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, Bright and airy living room features a gas fireplace, cable tv and plenty of space for relaxing, 2 spacious private bedrooms, A full bath with a shower and jetted tub and a downstairs half bath, enjoy the serenity of a private patio perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful grounds, walking distance to The Preserve perfect for hiking, mountain biking. Plenty of parking. A short drive or bike ride to the Old Saybrook town beaches, Main Street shops, restaurants, The Kate Cultural Arts Center, Fenwick Golf Course and Saybrook Point. Just a few hours by car or train from NYC and Boston. Your private shoreline retreat awaits you! Please note, the 2 bedroom unit is an in-law suite that is attached to our main house. Totally private with locked doors and your own outside access.

Perfect stay!

A perfect stay - John and his family were truly wonderful. The house is attached to thier main house, but also very private and secure. We were in town for a wedding weekend and this was the perfect spot for us - truly a beatuiful property! John was helpful in telling us about all of the local spot and supplying us with everything we needed. His wife even welcomed us with a cheese board and wine! Thanks John and family - we had a great time!

5 Stars – A Wonderful Stay in Old Saybrook

Our stay in Old Saybrook was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We loved the cozy coastal vibe, and the amenities were above and beyond—everything from the kitchen supplies to the comfy beds was thoughtfully provided. (Laundry too!)The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the beach, the town center, and local favorites like Pasta Vita. We especially appreciated the scenic surroundings and the quick access to everything we wanted to do.The host was kind and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and welcoming. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this spot if you're visiting the Connecticut shoreline!
