"I would recommend this hotel so much! Stayed here for a concert and it was great. At first there was a slight issue as I had booked two rooms and only one room was found on file, however our server quickly sorted it and made sure we had two rooms. Breakfast was great, we were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us around and there was plenty to eat, especially for me as I am vegan and it was refreshing to have plenty of options. Great value for money, impressed by the great price, can’t fault it!"

"We had a good stay at the hotel. We had a twin room as I left it late to book up somewhere for the Guns n Roses concert. The room was clean and tidy with an en-suite which was also clean and tidy. We were only using the room for somewhere to sleep after the concert so the fact we had a small room (we knew this as we booked the small twin) was fine with us. It was great value - we spent a third of the price of a room in the city centre - and this hotel was just as close to Villa park. We used the bar facilities downstairs, and they were clean and tidy, and a round of drinks was pleasingly cheap. When we chose to do the ground an Uber cost us £8. We decided to walk back (around 2.5 miles) and this was fine for us. It’s a basic hotel room - but was great value for money. I also found out that it is under new management- so this seems to be working well as we were happy and would come back again. Also the staff we encountered were really nice and helpful - which always helps."

"Our weekend stay was very good. The staff are very attentive and couldn’t do more for you. The sports facilities , swimming pool, gym, sauna, hot tub and steam room are all in excellent order and well maintained. Dining is exceptional whether it’s Breakfast or Evening Dinner. A really great place to relax in very historic surroundings."
