"What a beautiful, restful apartment- much more spacious than the photos show. Outlook to the water in one direction and gorgeous greenery with cute bach’s in the other direction. Very comfortable beds, everything you could wish for. The shops, bus stop and excellent cafe (Bisou) is just down the road. Thank you very much. "

"The description of the property did not mention how close to the road the property was- it was noisy at night with cars driving past.I am unsure as to why there was a large piece of mirror in the bedroom with the 2 single beds. It was just leaning against the wall - very dangerous. It should have been screwed to the wall. luckily someone came after we had arrived and I had it taken away.Also at check out time I looked under the beds and down sides to check nothing had been left. I dont think they have ever been pulled out and vaccumed- very dusty and dirty and the bed hides some holes in the wall at the head."

"Lovely resort, great location and views from your balcony. Walk to beaches. Good online price and kitchenette so you can still stay on a reasonable budget. Extras such as minibar pricey so watch out. Great restaurant with balcony views to die for. Lovely pool and spa."

"It’s dated. Rooms are filled with insects as these are near trees. Pebbles between rooms made walking difficult especially when at night there were no lights between cabins. "

"I had a wonderful stay at this charming classic bach in Surfdale. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the peaceful setting offered stunning views across the beach toward Auckland. There’s a fantastic takeaway coffee spot at the end of the path beside the house, and the local shops are less than a minute away. I would definitely stay here again."
