Lovely room in a fantastic spot! The free parking was a great bonus and we really enjoyed our stay here. Clean and tidy, pool was awesome. Friendly staff at reception.

Nice little hotel. Amazing location.
Tony and Linda were great hosts. Excellent location at the end of the main section. River view balcony was amazing. The unit was renovated and kept in nice condition. Good value. The only thing lacking was an elevator. Stay on the ground level if lots of luggages. If booking through Expedia or Hotels.com, call ahead to make sure accurate booking was done.

A lovely find and such a treat !.
We had such a lovely break away from it all here - this was a lovely find and our third stay which should tell you something :). I booked us the river view apartment - so worth it :D. It is in a great location and was really quiet, the apartment we stayed in had been refurbished from when we were last there and it was so comfortable and a wonderfully cosy. It felt like a home from home. The place was spotlessly clean and felt like a real treat. Staff here are helpful and friendly too which really helps. The gentleman even sourced a sodastream cartridge for us really quickly which was really kind and very much appreciated. The grounds are nicely kept and the pool a lovely place to take a refreshing dip and the covered free parking was a real bonus too. Thank you for such a lovely stay :D

Great location and value for money
Right on Hastings street in the middle of shops, bars and restaurants, with only a 2 min walk to the beach. Perfect location at a super reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

Ideal setting. Close to river, shops & beach
Great location. Great Management. Quite well equipped but couldn't find a clothes airer to hang out swimmers. Bathrooms were a good size but vanities and mirrors looked tired and worn. Exhaust fan in the master ensuite did not seem effective. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed. Our ground floor 2 bedroom unit had direct access from the car park on one side and direct access to the boardwalk on the other. Fairly dark and cold apartment in the winter with no natural sunlight on the north side. Would be better suited for the summer. Large stacking bifold doors were the only internal entry to the master bedroom. These doors were well worn, hard to move and structurally ready to break. Consequently we just left them open. There are no windows in either bedroom. Glass bricks in the second bedroom and a secure sliding door with screen in the master bedroom. The living areas had no windows only stacking glass doors on the western side which limited secure ventilation options to airconditioning. The double roller blinds were very tricky to open and close. No fence or barrier to boardwalk and limited privacy in the outdoor area, but otherwise a great area for Summer use (only dappled sunlight in Winter). This area outside the unit would not really have suited us if we had young children due to proximity to river and no fencing from outdoor area. Great for older children. We had a very pleasant stay and would love to return in the warmer months. Thank you for the opportunity.

Thank you for taking time to pot a review. The river-suite 32 is south facing and can feel cold during the winter, but we find most guests will use the heaters provided to warm up the space. This unit is being renovated this May/June into a refreshed Hampton style decor and all bathroom cabinetry etc is also being replaced. This unit is as you say more suitable for families with older children due to direct access to the river. We hope you come again.

A surprisingly affordable option
Very affordable accommodation on Hastings St. Nicely renovated studio apartment, comfortable bed, nice shower. Balcony over looking Hastings Street. Airconditioning worked well, guest laundry (free) provided on site, swimming pool looked newly refurbed, sunlounges and umbrellas were plentiful. Stayed two nights for around $520, which was half the price of other places on Hastings St.

Hotel Laguna is ideally positioned right in the the heart of Noosa Heads Hastings Street with surrounding shops and restaurants. The beach is straight across the road and we back onto the river -with amazing views from the balconies. Please come again

It was average at best.
The pros; location is fantastic being right on hastings street and able to walk everywhere. Ground floor unit offers easy access to the pool. Cons; NOISE! If laying in bed until 1.30am listening to the sound of doof doof music is your idea of a good time then by all means stay here. The outside noise ruined the stay for us. Both Friday and Saturday nights had loud music playing until early hours. You could also hear all of the commotion of cars going in and out of the carpark, cleaners going in and out, bin trucks etc. It was so frustrating to try and sleep with all of this. Not relaxing at all. The unit itself was average. Clean but old and daggy. The sofa bed needs replacing it was so uncomfortable & dipped in the middle. No pantry to store your pantry items. The pool was nice but not heated enough to be pleasant. If you can stay on the river side in a renovated apartment it might be better however would not recommend unit 100 nor stay here again.

Thank you for your candid review and Management are sorry that the unit did not meet your expectations. It is disappointing that you chose not to come to reception and see if we could move you to another unit or one on the river side of the property. Management are always happy to accommodate guests requests if and when possible. There are speed humps along the drive way that make it impossible for cars to speed down, but we will investigate as to how we can further prevent any disturbance after hours. This particular unit is on the renovation schedule for May 2020, and a new sofa bed has already been ordered. Our sun drenched pool is heated to 28 degrees during winter - which most guests find to be quite pleasant and we are sorry that this was not to your liking. I agree that you would have possibly preferred the river side - which is slightly more expensive - but worth it if you prefer total tranquillity and are a light sleeper.

Pretty disappointing to be paying $275 per night and not getting fresh towels at all during our stay (only 2 on arrival) also, we were woken up and had to evacuate just before midnight due to a false alarm and received no apology or even acknowledgement of this when we were checking out the next day.

Management apologise for the inconvenience of the false alarm but as a precautionary measure, we must evacuate the building for your own safety, even though there was no fire, but a restaurant staff member accidently broke the alarm glass which set it off. Guests on arrival are advised that all rooms are a weekly serviced but we do offer a towel change if required for a small fee and can be arranged at reception. There are also free washers and dryers for guests convenience if you wish to launder you own. It is only $20 more per night if you wish daily servicing.

Best Noosa experience ever!
I have stayed in dozens and dozens of hotels around Australia and the world in the last decade, and this without a doubt would have to be the cleanest and most well kept hotel I've ever stayed in! The staff are very relaxed and friendly. The pool is excellent and there was always plenty of space when we were there, even though it was school holidays. The views are amazing (both over Hastings St and the River/hills), but it is the location that really seals the deal. Being on Hastings St with everything so close, including the Noosa Woods and the Noosa Main Beach, it's absolutely amazing.

We have stayed at Hotel Laguna many times up until approx. 10 years ago. Some of those stays also included our adult children and their children. The only thing we don't like is there are no lifts. When being upgraded to the 3rd floor we had forgot the lift.. However on arrival Tony's son was there to assist with luggage and on departure the male cleaner carried one of our bags down. All much appreciated.
