"We were travelling with our baseball team. The facility has a space out behind for the kids to go and play catch. We also brought our dog and the hotel was very accommodating. They provided a bed and water bowls for him. The breakfast was delicious, there was waffles, toast, eggs and sausages plus cereal and fruit. The front desk staff was very helpful when I needed assistance with the laundry facilities"

"This hotel was fabulous. It was easy to get to and parking was good. The staff were friendly, outgoing and helpful. We stayed in a premier king room. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The bathroom had extra amenities as well as a powerful shower. We had access as well to the club lounge where we got an evening snack and a continental breakfast the next morning. It was a very quiet hotel. We would highly recommend travellers to book this hotel and we definitely will be back!"

"This is the Fort Garry Hotel we’re talking about. It’s the epitome of elegance in Winnipeg. The beds are soft, the water pressure perfect, the rooms spotless. They provide bathrobes and even the bath towels are bigger than at other hotels. I asked for a small refrigerator and one was graciously provided at no extra cost. I feel this should be standard in any hotel room. Everyone today wants to keep their water bottles cold. Many travel with medication that requires refrigeration. Something for luxury hotels to think about"

"I stayed here for a solo trip. Check-in and check-out were smooth, but I had to wait for housekeeping to check my room before I could get my deposit refunded. That was a little annoying. The property has a tavern, so be prepared for intoxicated people sharing your floor, however, they were mostly well-behaved during my stay."

"This nice basement suite was clean and is as pictured. Driveway parking was a plus. Consider bringing slippers or “inside shoes” as the basement floor can be chilly even with socks. Also, a young child lives upstairs so expect loud jumping. The noise always stopped by bedtime/9pm. This was a great place to stay while we visited family in Wpg."
