"The thing to remember about this place, it is cheaper than everything else. So, it is basic furniture and breakfast is weird with everyone on one table and only eggs as the cooked food, but you get what you pay for! The most annoying thing is that they email you in advance to ask when you are arriving but clearly don’t look at the response. Any issues and you are told ‘you can cancel’ in a way that implies they might cancel your reservation! To be fair, they didn’t but it was a very odd...

"Cozy home was just like the inside pictures. The rooms and living room were comfortable and spacious, the kitchen clean and had all we needed. The only thing we didn't like was that the backyard was not appealing at all, it didn't have any seating area, and the grass looked like it hasn't been taken care for months, if not a year, so we didn't even opened the backyard door afraid of some crawling creature will jump us. "Best. Pillows. EVER! Lovely staff who are all awesome people! Beautiful building - it used to be a telephone office and they incorporated phones into the theme of the place. This is NOT their fault, but the train does run by and I could hear the horn from it throughout the day. Just something to be aware of, but I don't think it took away from the lovely experience. A little noise is typical in a downtown area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Houston. "
