The hotel was an old quaint building that was beautifully furbished incuding a wonderful garden area where we could enjoy a bite to eat or a drink or just lounge and read a book. The restaurant included several rooms all nicely furnished. The rooms were fantastic, really nice with very nice facilities.

Can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The room was beautiful! The furnishings were stunning and it had everything we needed. The staff at check in and check out were so friendly and accommodating. The parking was easy and spacious. Best of all, the hotel is right in the middle of town so all of the main attractions of Stratford are practically on your doorstep! Would recommend it to everyone!!

I often stay at this hotel and it always exceeds my expectations, fantastic staff on reception and the bar staff were great last night, accommodating and entertaining. We didnt use the restaurant as we checkedin early and the wife woke up late!!!You will never regret booking this hotel, its brilliant 👏

Great find….
Booked this fairly last minute as a stop over travelling north… great find! Perfect central location, great choice of room from Tudor right through to modern. Incredibly sympathetic renovation with lovely original characteristics retained. Food great and staff very helpful with nothing too much trouble.

Great location, very friendly staff and spotless rooms. Nice to have a choice of room style, we went for Georgian and it was beautiful, looks very well looked after too. And our room looked over to the Shakespeare spot opposite! Would definitely recommend. Parking was great too, good value for the time we were there.

Shakespearean building - exciting!
Wonderful old building - Shakespeare would have known it! Friendly service who worked hard. An alcoholic bottle or two in the fridge would have been welcome. Very convenient for the shopping centre.

This place is a maze. They put me in a ‘Georgian’ room across an open courtyard which I could never find again without difficulty. The room was ground floor and gave straight into the Main Street. Curtains have to be closed all the time or you are sitting in an open cell. At 5.00 am after a remarkably uncomfortable night I had the pleasure of hearing the rubbish trucks pull up about eight feet from where is Kay in bed. Nor could I always find the way out and at one point when I asked (in one the bars, which are kind open plan on the ground floor, making the wayfinding thoroughly confusing, the staff laughed at me and said “There’s no way out.”Frankly appalling. I just stayed one night as I was hoping to experience a touch of Ian Schrager luxe in Stratford Upon Avon but it was nothing like, despite being doubtless the priciest hotel in the town centre by a Warwickshire mile. Avoid!

Great hotel
Really friendly staff and the room was very clean with comfortable bed. Hotel has a traditional yet modern decor and the old part at the front is beautiful and just what you want to see in Stratford upon Avon. Would highly recommend staying here and will most certainly be back again.

Beautiful hotel in the center of town. Convenient car-park behind the hotel. Very walk-able to many sights in Stratford. Only complaint is the description said parking was included and it was a surcharge.

This hotel is excellent. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they are all very friendly whilst also being professional. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Bedroom was great ( could have done with some extra hooks for hanging coats though). The bar areas and restaurants are all beautifully presented and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, a good selection of continental self service and you order cooked breakfast which arrives at your table freshly cooked. Great outdoor courtyard. The best drinks glasses we have ever had in a hotel room. The hotel is centrally located in Stratford so very handy for shopping and eating /drinking out. I thought the only downside was the daily parking of £12.50 which I think is a little excessive but I may be out of touch. I can’t praise this hotel enough and it would be my first choice to stay again in Stratford.
