"This place is really special - it's a good experience, the staff is so nice, the restaurant is on site, and there are animals to visit. With all that said, the room itself was pretty shabby. The beds were wildly uncomfortable , the blankets had other people's hair embedded in it, and the cars/rooms are just run down. We were sad to leave the place in general but not the room itself. "

"The room was not clean, I believe it was not fully completed from renovations. The bathroom door did not close properly. The breakfast was fine, but hot food was not great. We left a day early, and even though we gave more than 40 hours notice, there was no refund or compensation. I was disappointed by the new $ cheap style of renos, not considering the historical setting or even the buildings."

"The staff were informative & friendly, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The parking was right in front of your room, which made it very easy to unload and load your bags. No complaints at all for the stay. Only the breakfast part was the not too impressive-you either get $8 pp credit or select from a limited simple choices. The portions were very small. My daughter chose 2eggs w/ the hash brown which was very, very salty so couldn’t even finish half. I had the croissant egg sandwich, which the croissant tasted like the plain Costco croissant. I think you’ll be better off using the credit to buy other breakfast choices. Good part of the restaurant was the fresh coffee & don’t have to pay any tips. "

"The Cabins at Beaver Creek offered a quiet comfortable environment in the midst of a beautiful country and Amish farms setting. The cabin itself was cozy and fit our needs. The staff was quick to respond with a few minor issues that needed to be addressed. I have visited Strasburg many times and there is something so peaceful about watching and hearing the Amish horse and buggies as they go by. We will definitely consider The Cabins at Beaver Creek on our next visit to the Strasburg area. "

"Hot tub was great…..but could really use some paver stones going from the tub to the sidewalk entrance of the cabin. It was a little smaller than expected, but still fit us fine. A fry pan (without scratched teflon), extra batteries (I don’t think the tv remote was working) and some salt and pepper would be nice amenities to include. Overall, a great quiet little spot close to everything we wanted to do and see. Host was amazing with communication! Thank you,Heather"
