Bird in Hand Family Inn was an exceptional place to stay for my wife and I’s overnight trip to Lancaster. The room was spotless, staff was very friendly, and the proximity to everything was second to none. The water pressure in the bathroom could’ve been a little stronger - but that’s so minor it’s hardly worth mentioning. The bed was comfortable and the room was more spacious than I had expected. We will certainly be staying here again - especially for a little longer of a trip where we can take advantage of the proximity to Kitchen Kettle Village, Jessica & Aaron’s Buggy Rides, and of course the Bird in Hand Restaurant and Smorgasbord.

We stayed one night here. The room was very nice and cozy (a bit outdated) but very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and friendly, especially Robin at the front desk. You could tell she loved her job! Very friendly and bubbly and so very helpful with all our questions. She really took her time with us.. Hard to find someone like that nowadays. The restaurant was also clean and very good. The waitress was very accommodating. We explained to her that we had limited time, as we had tickets to a show and had to be quick. She put our order in quickly and we got our food in no time at all and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. Also, it was a good price! We will be back!
