"We are a family of 4 traveling through 4 countries for 2 weeks. This was our favorite! Upon checkin, Alan met us and showed us to our room. He was so friendly and welcoming. We had the family suite. It was so beautiful and comfortable! Each kid had their own twin bed, and they loved it! Windows opened to hear the seagulls and cars below, and let in the cool sea breeze. There was plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was very clean and perfect for us. We ordered the full breakfast the next morning - what a delight! Elaina was very nice and made sure we pronounced “Edinburgh” correctly before leaving, haha! This place is walkable to everything in town you’d want to see. We hope to visit again one day."

The bar was brilliant with plenty choice of drinks and the food was top quality. When we return to Portpatrick there’s only one place we be staying. The crown 👍"

"Stayed in lighthouse apartment. Easy check in, staff were brilliant, location amazing. Food fantastic on evening, breakfast was fantastic. Apartment was big, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again."

"The night staff and dinner ataff were amazing. The morning staff was not their at 8 am, as stated, ao we did not get breakfast before leaving. The morning manager waa rude via messaging and called us liars even though we were there at 8 am and knocked. "
