However Stornoway is a very limited place. No restaurants as such, Even the chippies shut at 8. Lewis has a lot going for it - north, west and south. Stornoway is the obvious place to stay - but is not much fun."

We really enjoyed staying there during the Faclan book festival. The location is also great - 5 minutes from the harbour and centre of the town."
