"Parking was confusing. We followed instructions from staff and were told we parked wrong and would be towed. Restaurant has weird hours- never was able to eat there. We arrived late our first night (10pm) and restaurant was closed but then was criticized for bringing pizza into the establishment (and taking it directly to our room). Staff seemed confused about everything. No air conditioning in rooms"

It is well located in the centre of Beverley, across the road from the stunning architecture of St. Mary’s Church and 10 minutes walk to the magnificent Minster. The hotel itself has wonderful public areas and the rooms are decorated and equipped to the highest standard. Wonderful bedding, beautiful fabrics, a luxurious bathroom with bathrobes and both coffee and tea making equipment. The breakfast service is excellent with a continental buffet and delicious menu items. The staff are helpful and friendly and were keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. There is car parking at the rear of the hotel with a secure entry gate. We hope to return before too long to this thoroughly enjoyable hotel."

"The property was excellent and very clean and well presented.The location is excellent for a stay in Beverley really close to all attractions and shopping.Parking is easy and convenient which is not common in Beverley. A parking permit comes with the booking and included in the cost. The only challenge was the narrow staircase to the first and second floors. This is an old Tudor-style property and has been superbly renovated but the staircase is very tight and steep. This will be a challenge if you have mobility issues. Overall our stay was outstanding value for money and exceedingly comfortable."

"Lovely family home in the heart of beautiful Beverley. The property is situated in a quiet area close to all amenities. The house is well equipped and spotlessly clean. My friend and I shared the whole property for a weekend … this was our third time of staying! There’s a lovely private garden area too. Though there is private parking at the property it is quite tight … I found it easier to reverse in but I only have a medium sized car but if you have any problems with it just contact the owner, before your visit, and she will arrange a parking permit to enable you to park further down the road. Will definitely stay again."

"The double room was clean & fresh but the 'standard' size double bed does not compare well with the more usual 'queen' size provided in hotels in this price range. The staff were brilliant ambassadors for the hotel - Maisie & Jenny in particular - always attentive, always happy to engage with guests, always thinking ahead to anticipate the needs of their guests. The hotel is set well back from the nearby road and there was absolutely no intrusive traffic, or any other, noise to disturb our visit. Parking was extensive and conveniently located."

Although there is no designated parking, street parking is a 10 second walk away, so this wasn't an issue. There was even a guitar on the wall to have a relaxing noodle. Thanks again David"
