"Great location. Fantastic views. The only part of an otherwise wonderful experience was the initial front staff that checked us in. He was rude and condescending. All other staff that I interacted with were delightful and extremely helpful."
Buubble Hotel - Hrosshagi

"This would not be for everyone but you have to be prepared to stay in a clear “igloo” like bubble. Staff was friendly and there upon arrival but it is a small cabin with 2 shared bathrooms and showers for everyone staying. There is a fridge and coffee if wanted. The only thing in the bubble is a very comfortable bed, a small light and electric outlet. Each bubble is private and there is nothing like looking overhead into trees and the sky. The bed was the most comfortable bed with plenty of down pillows and comforters. They give you a lantern if you need to use it for the evening. We woke up to the sunrise very refreshed. Definitely an interesting and fun experience."

"We loved this very well appointed property near Fludir. There were lots of kitchen utensils, comfy beds and a Nespresso. Our only complaint was that the neighbors had their outside porch lights on all night which interfered with the northern lights photos; but that’s no fault of the owner! Loved it."

"Property was clean and in a beautiful location. Instructions for check in and out were clear and easy to follow. Very much appreciated that there was coffee and tea available for the first evening and morning. Soaps, body wash, laundry detergent, dish detergent, towels were also available on site. We liked that there were books and puzzles available. We enjoyed walking to Skálholt and walking to experience the Laugarás lagoon and restaurant was amazing. Hot tub was also enjoyable."

"We loved this retreat, it was the last leg of our trip and it was neat to be able to stay in a turf house. Everything there was made locally in Iceland you can tell the owners put a lot of thought in it and the private soak tub for each house was lovely. We got to see the northern lights the service was excellent and the house had a full kitchen and dining table to eat."
