Breakfast very good. Parking had no issues. Room was small but clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Would have liked kettle or coffee in room. Also, having ice somewhere on property would have been great.
The room itself was great. It’s was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom alone was the size of some European hotel rooms. But the common spaces have a lot of room for improvement. They are a bit shabby and unwelcoming. They need to replace some of the worn furniture and hire a decorator to make the large, cold space feel cozier! We were also disappointed that the breakfast we were told at check-in would be served from 7:30 was not available. We had to go elsewhere.
Friendly staff checking in, informative great location for the Geysir great value for money, coffee and tea facilities were good, ideal location for Aurora Borealis as light levels are low.
Incredible location right across from the geysers. Helpful staff at front desk. We spent the whole evening exploring that geyser area. Wonderful to just walk back to our room after. The hotel is basic but we didn't need anything fancy. Bed was great and so was breakfast. Yes you have to walk to the big hotel but we didn't care. Isn't far. We had dinner at the geyser food hall next door. Fish and chips were good. They stop serving hot food at 7.
Check-in was very quick and easy. Location was superb and a quick walk to the restaurants, visitor center and geysers. Nice little areas to sit and relax and enjoy a hot drink from the complimentary coffee / tea bar
Clean room, unfortunately it was very poor lighting inside. We wished there were at least 4 more recessed lights or 2 floor lamps. Overall it was comfortable otherwise.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was amazing to be just a 5-minute walk from the geysers and other beautiful natural attractions—such a unique experience!
There were lots of food options nearby, which was very convenient. The room was pristine, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Overall, a great stay!
