All on one level, Bumbles Barn is set in an enclosed courtyard with a private hot tub, covered garden bar, barbecue and garden furniture and is just the place to relax after spending the day exploring the area. The bijou lodge with open plan living space has a cosy sofa, dining table and cooking facilities. A double bedroom and shower room with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste completes the cosy accommodation. The owner also thoughtfully provides dressing gowns and hoodie blankets to snuggle into. We can also provide a breakfast hamper, arrange romantic packages for birthday’s, anniversaries etc., please enquire at booking.

A perfect place for a relaxing escape in rural Falkirk yet within easy driving distance to the cities in central Scotland. The enclosed courtyard is ideal if you are bringing your pet on holiday and there are miles of walks out into the beautiful countryside and forest and around Black Loch. Situated mid-way between Edinburgh and Glasgow the local railway station is just 3 minutes’ drive from Bumbles Barn making it a great location to attend the theatre or visit the Edinburgh Festival and the tourist attractions without taking the car. There is also a regular bus into Falkirk and a day out visiting the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies as well as Callander House is not to be missed. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet hideaway, Bumbles Barn is for you. Well behaved pets are always welcome. A cat or dog crate is available as well as a large bird cage and outside aviary by prior arrangement with the owner.

Dogs can be left in the kennel and run if you wish to go out but please let us know in advance and we will keep an eye on them for a small fee.

Please do not leave dogs in the property unattended. A kennel / crate can be supplied on request, but the owner will only check on dogs by prior arrangement, they do not offer a kennel service.

As we are pet friendly you may find the odd dog hair. While we endeavour to clean everywhere, please understand that it is impossible to remove every single one. We want to remain pet friendly so please let us know if you have a problem.
