Me and my partner arrived to the hotel and have already booked online but wouldn't let us book In cause one of us didn't have id, but I already paid for the hotel and breakfast and everything and they wouldn't give me a refund!

All was well, within easy reach of public transport and shopping areas. Nice touch of using Dove products in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay, no problems and plenty of choice of hot or cold choices. Only minor gripe was TV kept loosing settings after turning off, had to retune every time.

A dreadful stay. We asked for the sofa bed to be made up and reported to reception when we checked in. We were told that the bed would be made up whilst we were out in the evening. Upon return, the bed still wasn't made up and we were handed bedding and had to make the bed up ourselves. The bar service was also terrible with staff missing out of site. It seems there is a serious lack of management at this hotel. The breakfast was also very poor indeed.

Stale smoke smell in room
The staff were very friendly though there was a strong smell of smoke in my room. I let reception know though due to the hotel being full they were unable to do anything. The manager said he would come to spray something in my room but, if he did come, there was no noticeable difference. Given I paid £150 a night for my room, I was quite disappointed.

Stayed two nights and from check in to checkout staff were friendly helpful and informative. Breakfast was fantastic and staff kept place clean. Ideal for shops places to eat and transport links..... Room clean ad beds comfortable. Room was cleaned towels changed for second day. Will definately return.. Not our first stay here
