This spacious residence features an open living area with exceptional natural light, striking metal fireplace, huge flat-screen TV on swivel arm, and plush sofa and oversized armchairs. The adjacent kitchen featuring all stainless-steel appliances, Wolf Stove, maple European-style cabinetry and bar seating. Perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together after adventure filled days! This fun and funky downtown residence can accommodate up to 6 people.

During the winter ski season, guests can take full advantage of the Steamboat free bus, an easy 10-15 min ride from Lincoln Ave to the Gondola Transit Center for access to skiing or après at the Mountain Village.

Guests of Alpenglow enjoy the exclusive use of a large, custom ski locker at Gondola Square, just steps away from the ski slopes and the Gondola.

Beautiful condo in great location!

The condo was beautiful and very clean! The decor was fun and really added to the appeal of the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was amazing..situated right in downtown Steamboat. We walked to all the restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location with ideal access to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The complimentary ski/boot locker at the ski base and the convenient bus service made the daily commute to the mountain a breeze. Can't wait to stay here again next season!

Christmas/New Year family vacation

We stayed at Alpen Glow condo for our annual Christmas/New Year ski trip. It was a great choice. The express bus was a quick trip to the ski area and we were steps from all the shops, restaurants, coffee shops and breweries we wanted to visit! The condo was well appointed and the Gondola Square ski locker was the icing on the cake for our skiers. We will try to book again next time.

Incredible Location

This property was simply perfect. Everything was easy and close, including the downtown hot springs which was well worth the visit. One of my favorite perks was the ski locker on the mountain. The entire experience far exceeded our expectations!

We liked the location in terms of being downtown and it was super easy to get to/from ski hill. We had good service with the management company. However, the noise from snow plows at 4a.m. is really BAD. We had multiple plows every morning between 4 and 5 a.m. The master is facing Lincoln street so its really loud. If you had someone sleep on sofa sleeper, it would be very loud. Liked a lot of things but would be hard to stay here again.

Great Place

We loved the location of this condo. It was clean and bright and large. The parking garage is small and tight. Don't bring anything larger or taller than a Toyota Tundra to park. The check-in process is confusing and outdated. We had to go to a location across town to receive a remote control and instructions. The guy that had to drive to the meeting location was nice but it was a bit silly to make us wait for him to drive to us when we could have receive instruction on our phones like everywhere else I've ever stayed with VRBO. The wall in the garage has a box that is marked with the condo number but it has nothing to do with you. It is for the owner only. That info would have been helpful. We did finally make it in and found a fantastic place right around the corner from food and shopping. The next morning my husband got locked out while I was in the shower and had to call the number from the night before for more instructions for a different door to come in, The person on the phone answered his question and then HUNG UP ON HIM before he could ask anything else. Over-all: Great place but the entry system needs to be brought into this century.

Perfect condo in a perfect location

It’s a beautiful and comfortable condo. It’s right in the middle of Old town SBS. Next to the free town bus that goes to the ski hill. Walking distance to the chic stores, cafes and restaurant in old town SBS. The apartment is very very nice, filled with natural light and mesmerizing views. If it had some extra blankets that would have been even better.... The only issues we had were related to the property management. The main building door didn’t operate well so we got stuck outside many times. Including one night at 11 pm for 25 min. We were told to keep trying the access code. Just when I was about to call the police to get a shelter from the freezing cold (because some of us started to show hypothermia symptoms), we managed to get inside. It took them another 3 days to fix it after endless calls nagging them to fix it. They gave us a key to the Spa room which doesn’t exist in that building.... then they told us to use that same key to open the main building door (if the access code fails), it didn’t work either, because it was not the correct key ....The receptionists were polite but not very efficient. They gave us a free locker in the ski resort, but after 4 days we found out that we “share it” with the another unit in the building,... by mistake, they gave the two units the same locker but they blame us for using the wrong locker.... not nice. The rent was over 700$ a night! for that price one would expect a better service...

As with our previous stays in your downtown properties , the Alpenglow2c met just about all our expectations. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped it was just as presented on your web site. We would offer 2 suggestions for the owners 1) add a dimer to the track lighting in the living room 2) and upgrade the Wifi as in its current state it is well below standard and pretty much unusable. You do have an issue with maintenance follow thru. On the morning of 3/4, we reported some issues with the glass doors in the master bath, blinds and 3 lights. By 5pm ,maintenance arrived addressed the first 2 items and left to secure the bulbs to fix the lights - we never saw / heard from them again and the 3 lights remained out when we checked out. We would have thought housekeeping would check the lights in the property before guest check-in.
