Make Memories With Your Family - Just Steps to the Bus and a Locker at the Base

A dream vacation home in Steamboat Springs, CO less than a mile down to the base of the mountain. Work directly with the owners, Don & Montie, for personal and professional service.

Our three bedroom, three bath townhouse also has a bunk room/den and a loft and easily sleeps ten in beds. Our mountain vacation home includes a fully equipped kitchen and full size washer/dryer as well as five TVs. It is ideal for large families or several couples. Everyone can enjoy privacy with each bedroom and bath on its own level.

Our townhouse has been completely remodeled and recently redecorated. It has new LVF flooring throughout, granite kitchen counters, and new appliances. The decor is warm and comfortable with leather furniture and luxury linens. It is a great place to call home while on vacation. You can eat in on the front or back porch over looking the pool while you BBQ on the gas grill.

Parking / Bus / Steamboat: We have parking for 2 vehicles, but public transportation is also available to take you to the ski village or downtown and always brings you back to our door. If you want to eat out, the bus stop is just across the street and arrives every 15 minutes. Then, you are just a couple of minutes from Gondola Square. Steamboat has incredible eating, shopping and a movie theater, Strings Concert Hall, and professional rodeo. The botanic garden is a must see.

Beginning ski season 24-25, we will be offering access to our new ski locker at Creekside which is just steps from the Steamboat Gondola. It is a great place to get geared up each day and you can leave your street shoes in the locker while you ski. At the end of the day, you may store any items in the locker overnight except adult skis/board. If you rent from the resort, it will include ski storage. This amenity includes a 20% discount when renting skis/boards from the Steamboat resort.

Ski Rental / Ski Storage: We also recommend Fleischer Sport for both ski rentals and storage. When you rent from them, they store skis/boots overnight for free. If you bring your own skis, they also offer ski/boot storage options, for a fee. Fleischers offers reasonable rates and is located in Gondola Square.

**Disclosure: We have two, outside only, static security cameras for monitoring snow removal, guest arrivals/departures, housekeeping, and wildlife.

Summary: We treated our family to the Christmas Holiday in Steamboat Springs in 2000 & 2002. Those memories will last forever and are the reason we bought our own place in Steamboat in 2011. Our townhouse is so warm and relaxed we now vacation in Steamboat as often as possible. When we aren't using it, we are so happy to be able to share it with you and your family. Steamboat Springs is a great vacation location for all seasons and we are now hosting destination weddings. Just minutes to hiking fishing, biking, horseback riding, hot springs, botanic garden and many shops and restaurants.

Great space for our group

We had a great stay at Don and Montie's place. It was spacious and clean! Check-in was seamless and the location was perfect for grabbing the shuttle to the mountain and into town.

Well equipped and great comnunication

The house is just as described. Easy access to the resort by bus and plenty of beds and baths. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 kids. This was a great spot for 2 families and really awesome hosts who replied quickly when needed. Highly recommend.

Incredible Spot in Steamboat!

The VRBO was a great place to stay! It was quite spacious and was extremely close to the bus stop to the ski resort. The owner was great with communication and answered all my questions. Would stay again!

Exceptional property at Steamboat Springs!

We absolutely loved this property! The hosts were amazing! Everything was at our fingertips and explained before we even got there. The communication was awesome! We were so close to grocery stores, shopping and the mountain. It felt so cozy! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Wonderful home! Perfect for ski or summer vacation!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! For others reading the reviews, these owners were responsive and super helpful with ideas and suggestions to make our trip perfect. Loved the modern conveniences and the fully stocked kitchen so that we could prepare our meals at home without the primitive nature of some rentals. My husband really appreciated the Weber Grill. Beds were comfortable and linens/towels amply supplied. The condo was so pretty that we enjoyed just being there as much as any of our activities. The restaurant suggestions on web site were spot on. We liked the Cottonwood Grill so much that we went back a second time with friends. The condo is close to everything so we enjoyed hiking from the top of Gondola and biking along the river. There is much to do in Steamboat. We will definitely return soon!

Has it all!

We rented this unit as a home-base for our daughter's wedding in Steamboat. The layout was ideal for our group - we all had our own space, yet never felt too spread out. Loved the western decor. There was not a detailed missed, as far as catering to guests. There was even a sewing kit that came in quite handy the morning of the wedding. Everything was clean & in excellent condition - it truly felt like we were guests in a home vs. just renters. The owners were always available for questions and gave us some wonderful recommendations for restaurants & things to do in Steamboat. We loved the little touches, like the bag of fresh coffee waiting for us on the counter. Location was perfect - right on the shuttle line, but also within walking distance to ski area (or a quick drive for those of us not acclimated to mountain air). There's a nice patio in back, too. We definitely want to return to Steamboat & plan on staying at this VRBO in the future.

The Best!

This place is amazing and the hosts are the best. They have thought of everything, and our stay was great. Highly recommended. Plenty of public and private space for adults and kids alike. The pool is right out the back door, which was a huge hit with the kids.

Great place and location

We had a great time and the place was great. The host was super accommodating and was great with communication. The place was located right on the bus line which we used to catch a ride to the base of the mountain. We would look at booking this place again if we ever go back to Steamboat.

Home away from home

Outstanding in All Areas

Staying and Don and Montie's condo was a wonderful experience for our family. This beautiful and spacious condo hits a perfect 10 on all points: Upgraded and well appointed kitchen, spacious bedrooms, exceptional beds with upgraded linens and plenty of space to spread out. I had my family of four (2 adults, 2 children), along with 2 more adults and we all had plenty of space whether watching sports in the living room or finding a quiet place to read in the loft. This will be our go to condo every time we visit Steamboat!

Tremendous

We had a fantastic stay at this property. It has everything you’d ever want or need for a stay and the location is great. The shuttle stop across the street from the parking lot makes getting to the mountain and around town so easy. It’s just a few short blocks to the base. The property has a really unique floor plan that really let us spread out, but at the same time was very cozy. It was clean, updated, and spacious. We would definitely recommend it.

Steamboat Ski Trip

Clean, beautifully remodeled, excellent location. Friendly and communicative hosts. Parking is a little tricky if you have multiple parties in your group driving separate and plan to fill the house as there is only two spots and no other parking. NOT the hosts fault but something to think ahead on. We managed just fine. We ran into some issues with the thermostat and furnace, however Don took great care of us. Overall excellent stay, would recommend and stay here again.

Amazing VRBO Experience!

I cannot emphasize enough what a great experience this stay was! The condo is beautiful and very spacious! It had EVERYTHING we needed for even our large family group! It’s more room than it appears!! Everything was super clean and in large part updated very nicely! Showers were awesome!! Bed was amazing!! Kitchen was perfect for preparing all our meals in house with a very nice size table and extra chairs also at the bar!! The family room was so cozy and welcoming with a great gas fireplace that heated it up there very nicely! Seriously the best VRBO experience that I have had. I would recommend this place very highly! Not only was the condo perfect, but the owners were great from start to finish! Great communication and VERY welcoming and friendly! They made the check in and checkout process a breeze! They included and stressed the importance of the parking lot procedures so we were prepared and it all just worked out wonderfully!! We cannot thank you two enough for a wonderful family weekend!

Perfect place to stay

This place was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and our place was spotless. The owner was amazing. Any questions we had he immediately got back to us. You are close to skiing. The bus stop is a few feet away. Grocery store is 5 minutes and all the shops and great places to eat are about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Don!!

A+ from start to finish!!

This property and it's hosts are extra special!! The communication was top notch and we felt so taken care of. From the moment we booked, they made sure we had all the information that we needed. We recieved sevearl messages as our stay approached and were check on several times. The place is amazing!! Close to the slopes, comfortable, roomy, and has all the extra things you could ever need. We cooked in a wonderful kitchen, played games, enjoyed the fire, and relaxed. It really was a perfect family vacation in a fabulous place. We would stay there again anytime!!!! 7 adults.. Beds were comfy!! 1 baby... They had a portable crib for us along with a highchair seat for the kitchen chair!! WOW!!!!

Best stay ever!

This property accommodated 10 people. Six adults and four children. Everything you can possibly want/need is in the house. The pool is a hop, skip and a jump from the back porch. Highly recommend this property.
