Beautiful lake side cottage in the heart of Connemara
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely spacious home. Huge kitchen that had all the necessary items to cook everyday. We stayed in the property for 2 weeks and cooked almost all meals there. Beds were very comfortable and excellent wi-fi service. The property location is stunning. Overlooking a lake and woods. Very peaceful and quiet. Just what we needed! There are daily visits from horses and sheep from the adjacent properties which was fabulous. We also saw herds of red deer. Overall, a superb peaceful holiday with lots of nature. "
"This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Though we met kind strangers and viewed indescribable beauty in our travels around Ireland, the isolated, quiet and luxury of the Connemara Sands was a balm for our souls and a treat to the senses. The menu was thoughtful and the food first class; the accommodations were roomy and tasteful with views of the Connemara landscape and sheep roaming cliffside. A special thank you to staff member, Marion who was there every morning to greet us with a cheery smile , recommendations and true Irish hospitality. We will return to this beautiful haven."
Idyllic Connemara cottage with sweeping sea, island and mountain views.
10/10 Excellent
"The property and house are wonderful. They are exactly as pictured, but work together synergistically to make it even better to be there. It is simple but very thoughtful. Everything works well. The view and the enviroms are phenomenal. Tim was a quick and warm communicator and told us everything we needed to know. There is hiking right out the back door and good pubs a few km down the road. The road to the house is narrow, but naivigatable. There are many many more sheep on the road than cars. It was exactly the quiet contemplative place that we were looking for."
"Our stay at The Renvyle House Hotel was one that we will never forget. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Absolutely beautiful area for our daily walks. We highly recommend this place, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "
