"I found the property to be very comfortable for my month long get away. I was working remotely during my stay and the wifi worked without a problem. Balboa Island is lovely and very walkable. I was able to walk around the Island to shopping and restaurants. I took the Ferry to the Balboa peninsula to walk on the beach and watch the sunset."

"As a non-local annual pass (Magic Key) holder, I try to get to the Disneyland parks on at least a quarterly basis. I'm a big fan of the Del Sol Inn because of the people who work there. Every employee interaction I've had-- from the front desk to housekeeping to valet-- has been extremely friendly, kind, caring and professional. Plus I'm always a sucker for a towel origami animals. This is the place to stay if you don't care about 'aesthetics' and are planning on being in the parks for most of the day. The rooms are a bit dated decor-wise, but wonderful if you're looking for a clean / convenient place to rest/ relax and shower after your Disney day. The location can't be beat--you literally cross the street and you're at the security gates into the esplanade. This works out great if you're a 'rope dropper' and want to take a mid-day siesta to get out of the heat and recharge. It's also a god-send on your feet when walking back at the end of a long trip. The toiletries smell nice, amenities are basic, water pressure / heat excellent, and the air conditioning is artic cold. Overall, if you want a clean, convenient, budget-friendly, no frills place to stay that's independently owned and staffed by some of the nicest people, then this is your place. "
