"We liked everything about our room and the hotel. Getting in was a bit difficult but once sorted - excellent. Very friendly and helpful and kind man who let us in and showed us to the room. My only quibble is with the shower: without doubt the most feeble shower facility ever! It took well over 5 minutes to get hot water: I never used the cold tap at all! Disappointing Everything else - wonderful! Thank you! M. Mackenzie. We hope to come again."

"Beautiful location right on the river bank. We had 2 nights at this amazing hotel. Our room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. The was a great choice for breakfast. The location is stunning with a large beer garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. They arranged a 6 seater taxi for us into St Ives which is a beautiful town which happened to have a jazz an and blues festival and a food market. We were greeted by a cheerful member of staff and the room was clean, but in need of sprucing up. The window sash cord was broken, the carpet frayed and the shower door did not close.
