"A historic hotel over 100 years old with a lot of character. No A/C but it was fine during our stay in May. I would imagine it might be uncomfortable during the hot summer months. The ceiling fan worked well and was very quiet. There was also another portable fan in the closet but we didn't need it. Staff was fantastic."

"Great location! I loved how it was surrounded by so much foliage. Beautiful! I enjoyed the market right next to it. Very convenient for snacks, sandwiches, & coffee drinks. They have some breakfast food available in the lobby in the morning, and that was a nice perk. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed that our room had its own little patio out front."

"Wow! What a nice surprise. I was with my adult daughter for some Stanford Medical appointments. Our room was adorable with just enough nostalgic decor to make it less sterile but not cheesy. There were plenty of outlets, pillows and perfect amount of space for our trip. Keurig coffee, snacks, and water no extra charge was another huge plus! Sam in the lobby was so helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Charming local owned vibes tailored to guests needs. Also plenty of easy and FREE parking! We will be back! "Booked last minute for BTS concert. It’s about 1 mile walk from the Stanford Stadium. Area near lots of restaurant, cafes and dessert place. Will book again!"

"The El Prado was a lovely hotel to stay while visiting family in Palo Alto. Room was spacious, and had a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and pleasant decor. Location was convenient for walking to restaurants and small shops. There s no restaurant at the hotel, but you can order room service for breakfast, which was very good! I would stay at this property again."
