"The cabin is in a great location right by the resort. It does need some attention though as the rooms are freezing and there were no space heaters. The big heater only heats the hallway and kitchen so bring something to keep warm at night in the bedrooms. The shower barely works, most of the water fills the tub and doesn’t come out of the shower head. Also there is very limited hot water so if you have more than 2 people staying here showering can be time consuming while you wait for the heater...

"This was overall a good pick for Big Bear. The room and beds were comfortable, service was friendly, loved the live music in the Tiffany restaurant bar, and liked the location and adjacent walking path. We were lucky to have a room overlooking the back/pool. The meh: The bathroom needed a fix-up (damaged tub, for one), none of the updated electrical outlets would hold a USB charger, and the jacuzzi, which did have great jets, turned out to be a tepid tub (it had just been repaired, so maybe it was on its way to hot)."

The house itself was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean, and very well equipped. The high ceilings, great design, and large living spaces made it both impressive and comfortable.One convenience we REALLY appreciated was having a private trash bin at the house. Anyone who rents in Big Bear knows what a hassle it can be to take your trash to a designated disposal area when you leave. Not having to do that was a big plus!I also want to give credit to the owner. You can tell this property is not simply about collecting rental income. There is genuine care and pride in the house, and the attention to cleanliness, comfort, and convenience shows that the owner truly cares about the guests’ experience.We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.**Beautiful house, thoughtful owner, and an AWESOME manager. "We stayed at the Castle over Labor Day. Cory was delightful she was very responsive, wanted to be sure we were comfortable and well taken care of through the duration of our stay. Our group was all family and there were 13 of us. There was so much room we never felt crowded. All of the bedrooms worked perfectly for our group the beds were very warm and cozy. The bedrooms are very well laid out and my husband and I stayed in the main bedroom which was huge! We loved the front porch and the rooms with balconies so peaceful and quiet. The kitchen was one of the best, stocked with everything you could want from dishes and utensils to a full pantry. It rained one day of our stay and we stayed in played games and had a wonderful time despite the inclement weather. I would highly recommend staying there. I am someone who has stayed in many rentals and have high standards all were met here!"
