"Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. "Was told by Expedia that I had the property to myself but when I arrived I realised I was sharing with 3 other people. Property was supposedly called ‘the cottage’ but turns out this was next door’s place. Parking was basically none existent in the end as the other people had their car(s) on the very small driveway. Only things I can say were good was that the WiFi was a decent speed considering how rural the area was, and the bed was very comfortable."

"Beautifully quirky former Oxford Prison hotel. We wanted to stay in a cell room which are only offered with a double bed. We would normally have looked for twin beds but on check in, were offered the opportunity for an extra single bed to be put in the room. Staff were very helpful and professional. The prison has been sympathetically transformed and retains all the former features which make it a special place to stay. Parking was offered right outside if needed. Location is perfect for exploring Oxford."
