Nature Retreat | Cabin on 40 Acres, 15 Mins from Beaches
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at this cabin for one night to celebrate our 18-year anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! It’s a beautiful, private, and secluded spot that gave us the peace and quiet we were looking for. With no cell service, we were able to completely disconnect from our phones and really reconnect with each other, such a blessing. The king-sized bed on the main floor was super comfy, and at night the view of the stars was breathtaking. The location is also fantastic, just a quick 15-minute drive to the beach, and the nearby Eco Adventure Park was exactly what we needed to add a little fun and activity to our getaway. The owner was wonderful to communicate with and made everything easy from start to finish. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful escape"
"We were twice already because our daughter lives close to there. It was convenient for us. The staff were great, there is a ok breakfast and parking lot was good. "
Bright & Modern Cottage Near Port Rowan, Long Point, & Turkey Point
8/10 Good
"Great living space, very clean, comfortable and open accommodations. Minor concern with renovation results (bath faucet, uncovered bolts at base of toilet, improper fit on screen door, Blackstone bbq was unusable due to lack of griddle cleaning equipment). Not sure if it was the proximity to the nearby RV park, or just some noisy neighbours but there was a party happening that went on well into the night with revving engines and loud music.Overall we would certainly go back to this location, but it certainly has its quirks. "
"This is what a bed and breakfast should be !
We have had some bad experiences at other places and the hospitality and luxury at Clonmel Castle exceeded our expectations."
Cozy Beach Cottage with Sauna & Spacious Backyard just 5mins from the Beach
10/10 Excellent
"We use the beach cottage to access the provincial park as well as the long point birding observatory. The park is about a five minute walk straight down Erie street while the LPBO banding station is located just around the corner along big cut Road.Beach access is also about five minutes down Erie street and down a short cul-de-sac.The cottage was very well cared for and rustic, which is our preference. It’s was well decorated and has everything anyone could need to call home for a week.We will definitely consider returning next year during the fall migration which begins in late August and early September. Lake house with spectacular sun rises. Separate bunkie on the property
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, area was private, peaceful and quiet.Had a good time one the water with boat easy launching and close. Very calm and relaxing. In the lake house all was available for cooking, bbqing, and a fire and additional items, just in case we forgot. Very thoughtful. Goodtime. Best stay we have enjoyed."
"A very well-located hotel, interesting architecture. The room was spacious and clean, as it also was the washroom.
Furniture in good shape and comfortable.
The heated outdoor pool, gym and free parking a great value.
We were offered free breakfast on first day. That was a misunderstanding. I woke up my son so we wouldn't miss the convenience of the free breakfast.
But that was a mistake. Just tea, coffee, yogurt and cereals should be called free snacks, not "breakfast".
We went for breakfast somewhere else after that."
