"Front desk staff was very helpful; the only issue I had was the pullout mattress was like a pancake. I felt the springs when sleeping; I asked for a new mattress and they weren’t able to replace it but did send extra bedding."
"Was okay. First time here and to the islands. It seems nicer in the photos. We went during a time where there was sargassum (seaweed) on the main beach by the lobby, they did offer shuttles to nearby beaches but we had a car to use instead.
Not a ton of things to do, some activities but limited really to two pools for fun and some occasional drink hours or small snacks like smore or ice cream.
They will sell you very hard upon arrival for a timeshare, not for us. It made the experience not so great.
The place is filled with steep hills and tons of stairs, they do offer golf carts to bring you around but you have to wait.
No room service, and they don’t service your rooms during the stay either.
Free laundry which was great, they worked well.
Free towels for the pool is helpful.
It’s pricey, the food is expensive, the sunscreen was 48 dollars… a bit of a racket honestly.
The room was “okay”
We did lose power during our stay. There was no comp or anything for that.
It’s near a couple beaches.
Took about a half hour from the airport to arrive, pretty easy to find.
WiFi is okay, you are limited to number of devices and we had no cell service at all making it a challenge for sure.
Wasn’t terrible but was great either, overall would probably not go back again."
"We had to walk up the hill with our luggage because the taxi driver would not go up it. We thought it would be a good location because it was close to the dock to go to St. John. It was just 6/10ths of a mile but the walk was horrible because most of the way there are no sidewalks. We bought food from Moe's for supper and a good BBQ place just down the hill. Moe's has a buffet by the pound. Breakfast was as advertised, but some reviews said it was excellent. I'd say it was average with fresh made scrambled eggs, a meat, canned juice, and coffee. No decaf coffee or tea. The room was clean. The bed was fine. Only A/C in the bedroom but you could open the door to the living room to cool it. We let it be hot in the bathroom. I'd say I made a mistake booking this place based on price, but also no amenities like a swimming pool or gym. It cost $339 a night. We stayed two nights. I should have stayed in the place we previously had and paid for two taxi rides to the dock to go to St. John. We would have saved $328 minus the cost of the taxi going round trip and two breakfast's at a restaurant. I don't eat breakfast, but my wife does. If you have a car, there is parking. I liked the bench outside of the room we had because of the view. No real view from anywhere you would sit inside our unit. Nice view for breakfast. So, my review is mostly about value and not anything bad about the place. I gave three stars. If the price was lower I would give four stars."
"The rooms were very comfortable and a great size much more expensive than I expected. The decor was elegant, and it was right in the heart of downtown Cruise Bay."
