"Lovely stay at Golden Triangle Townhouse. I did think all rooms were en suite, but the shared bathroom facilities were good. Lovely and clean and had a great stay. Walkable to the city and bus stop just down the road."
"There has been some bad reviews about this hotel, but I had a nice stay, bed was clean and comfy, toilet and shower were OK. For the price I was not expecting much but I was pleasently surprised."
"We booked a five night stay in a Deluxe Superior room and had to move after two nights. It was so noisy we couldn’t sleep, and our room had some maintenance issues that were not attended to after we asked on the 2nd morning eg bathroom mirror light not working in a dim small bathroom with no window or extractor fan (legal?). We asked for a refund as there was nothing deluxe or superior about the room. We were mislead. "
"Beautiful hotel. Clearly a labour of love and wonderful to stay in a building with local history. Quiet and peaceful despite being in the town centre. Lots of great food and drink options nearby. "
"We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. "

The Maids Head Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was recommended to me by a friend and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely room and everything was perfect."
"Facilities and location are unparalleled. The staff were also professional and friendly, and I had everything I needed for a few nights' stay. However, I feel the cleanliness could have been improved on as I found dust bunnies when I first entered the room. The property could also do with some updating soon as the walls and tiles in the bathroom were slightly worn."
"Perfect location, only five minutes from the train station and 29 minutes to the city centre.
Hotel has everything what you need. The room was spacious, shower very nice, plenty of tea and coffee. There is a fridge, a toaster and a microwave in the dining room for visitors.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. "
