"We had a great stay at the G. The hotel is just outside of the city center, close enough to walk, easy enough to grab a car and be there in a few minutes. There is a small shopping center directly behind the hotel if you need anything. The staff is incredibly helpful with anything you need or just to have a chat. The lounge and restaurant are beautifully appointed with nice views of lake. The food is some of the best food we ate in London and Ireland. The rooms are spacious and clean and have great space to hang your clothes and put everything away so you feel at home. We would highly recommend staying at the G while in Galway!"

"We were extremely happy with our stay at the Skeffington Arms. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and graciously, answered our questions, showed us where things were on a map, and suggested restaurants and shops. Our room was lovely: clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. We were surprised when we received extra towels and toilet paper every day, even though we didn’t request them. No other hotel has ever done that, in Ireland or anywhere else in Europe. That was much appreciated, especially when we returned at night from tours. We enjoyed a freshly cooked delicious breakfast, and what we didn’t finish we asked to be packed for us, as we had to meet a tour bus. We stopped by the adjoining bar/restaurant, which has live music nightly until about 1:00 a.m., and were happy with the cocktails and our meal. We highly recommend The Skeffington Arms and will be delighted to book lodgings there again. Oh! The hotel’s location on Eyre Square is perfect for getting to all the main attractions, restaurants and train station. The Skeffington Arms is a gem!!!"

"We had a lovely stay at the Harbour Hotel in Galway! It's in a quiet area by the water but a super short walk to the center of town and everything you'd want to do. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was one of the comfiest and largest I've ever had in a European hotel room. My husband and I have a king sized bed at home in the US, so we usually expect a downgrade when we travel (which is fine), but not in this case! Happily surprised!"
