Test your daring at Darwin's Crocosaurus Cove, where you can get eyeball-to-eyeball with the world's largest and most fierce reptiles – the salt-water crocodile.

Take a break from the city and stroll through this calming natural space. Pass harbour views, native flora and sobering war monuments.

Make friends with the fishes in the lapping tropical waters of Doctor's Gully, where feeding time brings shoals of colourful fish to play around your feet.

You can learn about the history of Darwin with a visit to Darwin War Memorial. Visit the shops and top-notch restaurants in this walkable area.
