Welcome to our tranquil lake front cottage located in quiet Saint Joseph, Nova Scotia. Enjoy peaceful evenings around the camp fire along side the lake. Oakleaf Lake Retreat is the perfect place to recharge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Whether you're taking advantage of our canoe/kayak, taking a peaceful walk in the woods, or reading on the front deck, you're guaranteed to enjoy the serenity of being in the wild. Come discover everything the Municipality of Clare has to offer!
The space
Entire lake front cottage with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. You'll find everything that you need to feel at home!

Other things to note
Please note that Oakleaf Lake Retreat is located on a 2.5km long private dirt road, which gets muddy and soft when it begins to thaw (late March-April). The road can be quite bumpy and rough, but is easily accessible by vehicles, including cars. Please take this into consideration when determining if this is the right vacation spot for you.

We arrived to find a lovely well appointed cottage nestled in the woods with a spectacular view of the lake, truly magical! Everywhere we turned, while touring our home away from home for the next 3 nights was perfectly placed, decorated tastefully and something we didn’t know we needed while there!! Tons to do onsite, spotless and the stay was enjoyable and effortless!! We are already looking forward to returning again, we all had a great time here!! Thank you!!😁
