New! We have a portable air conditioning unit! We are around the corner from the Mary Brown Centre, the St. John's Convention Centre and the Delta Hotel. Walking distance to many shops, cafes, and restaurants. Check out the famous George Street night life. Close by historic Signal Hill, Cape Spear, and Quidi Vidi Village Take in a boat tour to see whales, puffins, and icebergs. Stop by The Rooms cafe and stay for their exhibitions or drop by the Geo Centre and explore the earth. Go to Bowring Park to see the ducks and Peter Pan or swing by Pippy Park and ski or snowshoe. Hop on a ferry to Bell Island to tour the #2 Mine Enjoy a fire and a picnic on the beaches at Middle Cove or Topsail Take a walk in the Salmonear Nature Park Take a swim in the outdoor pools and splash pads at Bowring Park or Bannerman Park. or Skate at Bannerman Park at the outdoor rink in the winter.
After an enjoyable excursion come home to a relaxed, private space, with on-street parking for one vehicle. Sturdy and comfortable queen beds with cozy blankets are available upstairs alongside the office space which has a computer chair and an adjustable sit-stand desk. we have a portable air conditioning unit to cool the upstairs space for a more comfortable sleep. The couch in the living room pulls out to a double bed and the mattress protector and linens are inside. There is also a twin BYOB bed available.
Take a selfie with our unique kitchen cabinets featuring 20 remarkable Jelly Bean row houses painted by hand. Test your skills with our in-house treasure hunt game.
There is a laundry machine washer and dryer on site. there is a full-sized Barbecue on the large, shaded, deck and a propane fire table which can be used when fire bans are lifted.
Safety is tops! There is a fire escape ladder on the second floor. There is an ABC fire extinguisher on the main floor. A fire blanket by the stove. Each bedroom has a smoke detector and there are smoke detectors in the kitchen and the second floor hallway. Carbon monoxide detectors are on each floor. In the bath there is a grab bar to help get you safely in and out of the tub and there are slip grips on the bottom of the tub.
Prepare a meal yourself in our kitchen or Skip the Dishes or Uber Eats can deliver food to the door from one of the many fine restaurants in the area.
Enjoy complementary coffee or tea at home inside or on the shaded deck outside in a swinging chair. All are welcome, including fur babies.

Me and my friend loved staying here. Everything was in walking distance, cabs were cheap for travel elsewhere, and the neighborhood/street is quiet for being downtown. You can tell the owner genuinely takes what she does with care and comfortability in mind for her guests. Very easy communication, check in was a breeze, and the place is clean.

A beautiful property with a great host who did the extra things which made the stay special. Conveniently located in the downtown area within walking distance of local culture and restaurants. Brilliant decor and all the amenities provided.
Wonderful location, within walking distance to everywhere. Well appointed with all the amenities of home. We definitely recommend staying here and the hostess is fabulous to work with.
This is a homey place to stay that is central to many attractions. The street was nice and quiet. The only negative was how warm the bedrooms got after a day of summer heat
It was a pleasure staying in this rental. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and just a short walk to the core of St John’s. As hikers we were able to access trails to Signal Hill, Quity Vidi and the East coast trail as well as Cape Spear.
The location is great as it is an easy walk to downtown and 15 minutes to the airport.
The place was clean and well appointed. Very comfie beds!! Catherine was responsive in terms of the communication between us. I would highly recommend the place when in St. John's!!

The property is dated snd needs some updating. It was very quiet and everything was clean. It is a good location very close to downtown St. John's
The house was exactly what we were looking for. Location was a few minutes walk to George Street, which we did several times during our stay. Lots of room for our three boys. Catherine was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in St. John's.

This was exactly what we were hoping for. A 10 minute walk (at most) to everything you want to do downtown, but just far enough that it’s quiet in the evenings. Catherine was very attentive and quick to respond to any of our questions. I would recommend her place to anyone who is visiting St. John’s.

The place was very impressive when going in. Clean and bright. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. Toilet leaking across the floor and baseboard trim needs to be replaced - makes it look dirty even though it’s clean. Food left in the fridge which shouldn’t be. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Concrete needs to be replaced outside as when it’s cold and wet it can be very slippery. Excellent location to downtown and Mary Briwns Center.
This older home is well maintained, has lots of charm and character, and comes well equipped with some extras like aluminum foil and plastic wrap, as well as several small appliances including a Keurig coffee machine. Some coffee pods were supplied, but many people have their preference for pods so could bring their own along if luggage permits. There are stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, so you need to be able bodied. We were able to walk to the main shopping area in downtown St. John’s. We had a rental car and were able to park directly in front of the house. It was great to have 3 separate sleeping areas and relax together in the evenings. We usually had breakfast in the house before going out for the day. Would definitely recommend this house to friends and relatives in the future. Great value for the price.
