Trevose Harbour House
10/10 Excellent
"What an amazing house to stay in at St Ives. The owners were lovely m. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were the best I have ever stayed in. It was really close to the beach and shops and restaurants. The only issue was my TV didn’t work in my room. Still rated 10 out of 10."

Tregenna Castle Resort
8/10 Good
"the hotel is a beautiful building and very clean and all staff very helpful ."
Tathra Beach Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"Found the overall state of repair poor for the money paid. Living room walls dirty, bedroom paint peeling from ceiling and bathroom not fully clean (shower). I have pictures of all the areas I have mentioned ."
Shell Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"Shell cottage is in the perfect location, handy for all the shops and the sea front and is the perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs. We have stayed many times now and it is our go to holiday cottage but it is starting to look tired. It could do with decorating and certain things replacing. My niggles are relatively petty but annoying all the same. The plates are too big for the dishwasher as are most of the glasses, the few that remain that is. It is reasonably well equipped but the equipment is old and worn out. The baking trays are unusable as the coating is flaking, the knifes are blunt, the crockery is chipped, etc.The shower regularly backs us needing a visit from maintenance. The little courtyard is always overgrown and filthy, again requiring a visit from maintenance. The pictures should be updated on the booking site to reflect the current standard and general maintenance should happen regularly rather than as requested. That said we have our next two visits booked but will be bring additional things to use especially for our visit over Christmas where we will have no choice but to cook. A bit of TLC would go a long way towards making this the perfect 5 star cottage."
Heart of St Ives, Parking, Superb Views, Sleeps 6
10/10 Excellent
"We booked this property as we needed the space for my wife & I, my two daughters & their husbands (after two weddings last year!!) so this place ticked all the boxes! Our daughters & sons in-laws had the upper rooms, both double beds with en-suites while my wife and I had the lower room. Two single beds but pushed together, but not a problem. Not en-suite but bathroom next to it. A good sized kitchen, reasonably well equipped and a huge lounge up a few steps with double doors that open up to a glass wall balcony with views over the town with the harbour & part of the pier visible. We had two cars & there was enough space for them both, one completely under cover of the raised walkway and patio of adjacent properties, the other partly. Some steps to get to the front doors but not too bad.Very handy for the shops and not too far from most beaches either.Only downside was, as it is so close to the centre of town it was noisy at night & early in the morning too. Teenagers would gather in the nearby Trewyn Gardens, drinking and being rowdy. That was Friday to Sunday nights, then it was noise from the nearby pubs after midnight! The Thursday night being the worst with shouting audible until 2am! Not what you needed before having to be up & out by 10am Friday morning.Would probably stay here again if we came away as a family again."
