Wow. An amazing property with wildlife to match. To be able to explore this property and enjoy all it has to offer from a modern and super comfortable accommodation was terrific after multiple Tassie properties.

This was a real find and a disappointment on our part as we could have easily stayed here longer had we known how beautiful the place was. Views from the room were excellent. The fact that there were walking trails out to the water was a great way to relax upon arrival.

Thank you Jeff. I have been into Sandpiper since your stay and there is nothing wrong with the tv, it has a very clear picture. You also told me it was fine in the end as I did offer to come in and check it out for you. When people plug their phones or equipment into them they can knock the aerial out and do not push it back in firmly enough, which will cause reception issues.

The "Robin" villa was modern, comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equipped with an induction Cooktop, microwave and all plates etc. The location is excellent and the manager friendly and effective.

Thank you Joseph Sofia All units list on the website what they contain. Just because the one you booked did not have a dishwasher does not mean it gave you the right to leave it in a filthy state. I would not say I was rude or unfriendly when I called you to say you left your charger behind as well as stating it was your responsibility to leave the unit in a clean and tidy. It would not of mattered where you stayed, the unacceptable condition the unit was left in would of been disappointing to anyone. There is a notice on the wall that states your responsibility to clean up after yourself. Shame I cannot attach the photo's for all to see.

What an amazing property! Well appointed, with every mod-con, and spotlessly clean. Amanda is a very helpful host. We loved looking over the lake, with the ocean in the background.

Peaceful, Great views, and wildlife
Pelican Point Sanctuariy is a great place to stay. Amazing views, just off the beaten track so quiet, and managed by Amanda. Amanda also finds time to care for injured wildlife, which gives real meaning to Sanctuary! An amazing to stay on your tour round Tasmania.

Peaceful setting and cottage was clean and tidy with comfy armchairs. The only downside was that they were in the process of swapping over to NBN so there was no wifi available in cottage as advertised (only around office/laundry area).

Great view! So impressive to have both sunset and sunrise views in the property! Sunset from the door side and sunrise from the balcony side. The property itself was so spacious and beautifully decorated and equipped with all the appliances and amenities needed. We had great time in making our dinner in the modern kitchen and enjoying the food with the sunset view through the glass doors on both sides. Moreover, bedrooms and bathrooms are thoughtfully designed. We wish we could stay longer!

The view from our villa was spectacular and there were lots of beautiful flowers growing outside our deck and birds. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We were only there for one night but could have stayed longer. I did not notice a washing machine which would have been helpful.

A wonderful location. You feel you've really gotten away from it all, but only a couple of minutes from town. Only downside is how noisy the bird life is very early in the morning!

We loved everything about this place. So peaceful and beautiful. Perhaps iron and ironing board in accommodation might be helpful for some travellers rather than having to use the reception area to iron as it is not open all day. Highly recommended. Loved watching the cows and ducks moving around during the day

Thanks Julie for your great feedback. Yes the cows and ducks do provide some entertainment for us at times. The owner prefers to have the iron and board in the laundry which is always open for guests to use as some people do arrive late and still need to have access to it.

Apart from being the most comfortable and spotless accommodation we have ever stayed in the staff are what makes this stand out from the rest. Amanda went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. The owner is very lucky to have her 😊. Love this place and will definitely be back next year!

We stayed as an extended family group (4 adults, 1 child, 1 baby), in Kookaburra for 2 nights. Lovely, neat, airy, clean and quiet accommodation. Very helpful staff. Easy checking in and out. The kitchen is tiny but has excellent oven, stove etc, even a coffee maker (pods), no dishwasher. One bathroom and toilet (no bath) for 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms downstairs, one upstairs) but we were fine with that.Tranquil location. 5 min drive to Bay of Fires beaches. 20 mins to St Columba falls- easy but wonderful walk in magical rainforrest- and Pub in the Paddock and Pyengana Dairy Cafe. We will definitely stay there again.

Thank You for your feedback Clare. Egret Villa is the only one we have that is 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom and also has one of the toilets in a separate room. It has a very large kitchen and dinning area and it also has a dishwasher along with a stove and cook top in it. We do not have baths in any of our units or cottages. It also has views out over Georges Bay from all bedrooms and living areas. Just give us a phone call before your next trip to discuss Egret Villa.
