Great place

We had a guys snowmobile trip in February. We rented sled right in town and were able to be on the trails in minutes. We had deer come up every morning to eat in the backyard. 10 out of 10 recommende. Look forward to coming back next year.

Family loved the Trout cabin, Xmas 2023

Beautiful, elevated views of Lake Content. Check in and check out couldn’t have been easier and the 11:00am checkout time is a major plus. The place was unbelievably clean upon arrival and the 6 pack of spotted cow on the kitchen counter was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing week with our family. This is a very lovely home and has wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. View beautiful sunsets from the deck, a spacious kitchen for preparing meals, comfortable seating for movie nights and game nights. Extremely clean and inviting! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in a peaceful spot!

This vacation home was super clean, comfortable, very nicely furnished with modern finishes. We loved sitting on the deck (no bugs!) and looking out over the water. We saw multiple eagles every day. One eagle hung out in a tree by the waterfront. There is deer all over this neighborhood and we saw multiple deer every day as well. The loons calling to each other completed the "up north" experience. This home is out of town but so close to town it was very convenient to run to the store or out for supper. We brought our UTV as this property makes the trails very accessible. I can't say enough positive things about this property.

Wedding gathering

We chose to stay at this cabin as we were looking for a stunning location to have our wedding ceremony at. Although the weather did not cooperate that day and making the walk down hill in our attire, we couldnt have been more impressed with the home. The overall design, beauty, and cleanliness of the home was top notch. It was very spacious and made for a great gathering point for our families. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house on small lake

Stayed here right after Christmas through NYE day for a change of scenery. House had a great layout for hanging out with the family. Kitchen was well appointed and everything was very clean. The owner even left us a gift bag including a 6-pack of Spotted Cow, which was a nice touch. It was a short 5 mintue drive into town to get groceries, takeout pizza (go to Spang's), bait etc... It had been pretty warm leading up to the trip so wasn't able to get out ice fishing until the last day. Ended up getting a few flags and landed a couple small northerns right in front of the cabin. Highly recommend this property.

Nice stay

Agree with other reviews that overall this is a clean and great place to stay. We loved how peaceful the lake was and the channel to the bigger lake was easy to manage. One thing that was not mentioned by others is the shallow water by the pier and the challenge with docking a boat there. We have a large fishing boat with a deep hull so we had to put an anchor in a few feet away from pier and get in water every time to use the boat. If you have a pontoon boat it would not be a problem. Other then that we loved our stay and would recommend to others.

A couple of small things

Outstanding!!! We had a great week of relaxing. Only went out to dinner once because we loved your home so much! A few notes...There was no bread knife to use, no kleenex , not enough tall kitchen bags, not enough waste baskets, and most of all, no nite stand light in the downstairs bedroom. We had to go to Walmart and buy one. this is just for you to consider for future guests. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!!! Tim, Bev, and Jeff

Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay on Lake Content! The lake is just the best. It's quiet but also allows for full recreation activities. The access to Big St. Germain is key. The channel from Lake Content to BSG is narrow and best done with spotters on the boat :). The house was set up great for our family. It's in great condition, is very clean and has a lot of conveniences not always found in rental properties. The kitchen was well stocked, the open concept space was great for our gathering, cooking and relaxing times. The deck that overlooks the lake is spacious and allows for sitting/reading and has a table and chairs for meals. The location of the home to town is so great - it's less than 5 minutes to the grocery store and minutes to many different dining spots. The only challenge we had was that the path down to the lake is a little steep - definitely a challenge for less mobile people but doable! We would definitely stay again.
