"We stayed for just a night. It’s a great spot. The pool and hot tub were well maintained as was the entire property. We would stay again"

"The place is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the quiet woods setting. Really nice asphalt bike trails. Birds and wildlife galore. Communication with the host could be improved. For example, we had a little trouble finding the house and so I called Bryan. He didn’t answer and I never did hear back from him. We eventually found on our own. Another example, I had an impression with the mention of pier access as an amenity that we would be near water. When I asked about whether the place furnished anything for us in the water or if I should bring air mattress floats. I think Bryan said no, but his answer is no longer visible in the message area. In any case, that would have been a good opportunity to share info about the pier access, like where it is. We never found it. There was at least one other question he didn’t answer. Instructions from him for checkout said to take the trash out, but there were no trash bins outside. Last item - we believe the smoke alarm (in small bedroom on main floor) is not working. Cover was gone."
