Cute revamped hotel/motel with a free shuttle to old town etc. Our room was bug free but with the weather strip half missing it was really humid. Had to turn the air pretty low to combat it being so close to the water. Hotel was quiet even though the back borders a local cut through. Front desk staff was friendly, the man serving breakfast was not however. Appreciate the shuttle since all parking downtown is pay until 9pm.

First time stay here as we were just passing through to Port Canaveral. Great location near everything in St Augustine. We will definitely be back anytime we travel to the area.

We traveled 8 hours from Tennessee.Very tired.We arrived 1 hour early. asked Miss Gabo if we could check in at 3 instead of 4.She was very kind and arranged it for us,all so asked to be near the dog park on the first floor.also arranged that.The room was really nice,bed very comfortable.On our last day we had a good breakfast went to the room noticed I didnt have my purse.Miss Gabo had it sitting on the shelf.Really nice person.My husband and I would definitely Stay at Southern Oaks again and tell our friends.

Great spot to stay in that’s affordable. There is a shuttle that drops you off near the downtown area which makes it very convenient and you don’t have to worry about parking. Pet area looks well maintained and the exterior of the buildings were very cute. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

At 7 am Sunday morning, they started roof repairs over our room, drilling, hammering, strong noises. This was my last stay at this place.

Inn is very easy to get to. It's right at Rt 16 when you get to St. Augustine. Several very good restaurants are nearby, Brisky and Schooner. It's clean, staff very friendly, pool is beautiful and they have $5 Margaritas!!

This property was great. It has a free bus that runs every 20 minutes to historic downtown. The breakfast isn’t half bad. Staff is so kind. Little bar in the lobby. Great location also.

If you have a two part bathroom sink in one part and toilet and shower in the other part you need a place to put bath towels in shower area. As you turn off shower and standing there naked and no towel to dry off on.

I have stayed here several times because it is close to the Flagler College campus. The rooms are generally comfortable and quiet, though mine had an odd odor coming from the air conditioner this time. The staff is nice and the free breakfast is pretty good. I just wish there weren't so many fees in the bill.

Great staff. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Has a shuttle that will drop you off at the visitor's center. Super dog friendly. Has a wonderful dog park and dog bed in the room. Breakfast was great. Hot and yummy.

The check-in staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was served with a smile and was delicious! We were pleasantly surprised since we usually stay with the Hilton brand. We would definitely stay again.
