The Augustin Inn is conveniently located in the historic section of St Augustine. It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and the staff is warm and wonderful. We highly recommend this location if you are planning a visit to very unique wonderful city.

First bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in and it was great! Location to shops eating and entertainment right around the corner. Breakfast was amazing staff very nice awesome beds and complimentary snacks and beverages in the afternoon. I would definitely stay here again!

It had its pros and cons. Pros: being right in historic downtown, being able to walk everywhere, great breakfast, nice rooms. Cons: no parking, loud music from nearby establishments. If you stay there, ask for a room on the other side of St. George St. In other words, on the east side of the building. It's definitely not like a regular hotel. It has a lot of character.

I wish I could give two separate reviews for this B&B. I would rate the staff as five stars but the facility as three stars. Positives are the staff, location and breakfast services. Negatives are the conditions of the property and the lack of reserved parking. This property has so much potential but needs repainting, reflooring and general updates throughout. I expected more for $305 a night plus tax. I understand there are new owners and I hope they can bring the property to a new standard. The parking issue has to do with the location, which is excellent. Not sure anything can be done to improve the parking situation.

I am happy that you shared with us, St Augustine is full of artist and live music for all to enjoy, We have a strict policy here that the cafe behind us close music at 10pm weekdays and 11pm weekends, For all that come to St Augustine who enjoy preforming artist as well so many local artist that offer their work all around us.The reason the attendant was off premise for a short time is she was dealing with a hit and run issue that happened during your breakfast time and check out time, We were observing camera footage of the incident. I am sorry that you were not told about the charge for our wonderful mimosa package that we offer, My staff was under the impression that you had requested the package when ask for it for breakfast. We have so many wonderful packages available upon request.We are happy that you enjoyed your breakfast with us as we serve only freshly made gourmet breakfast daily.I hope that you found a reason to join our beautiful city again soon.

This property had the potential to be very good. Check in process was inefficient in that the room was delayed. Check in at 3 . Didn’t get our room until 4:23. Rooms need to be updated as the bathtub and toilet were separated by cloth curtains. The location was fantastic. The innkeeper made an effort to accommodate. The price of 323 seemed steep for the quality of the rooms. Our view was a wall and sir conditioner view. .room 17. Request not to take that room.

Rest Escape
My Hubby and I went to have a care free mini vacation to rest and get away from our businesses. We wanted to stay in St. Augustine and be worry free of driving; which is why we chose this Bed and Breakfast. The ambiance was exactly what I wanted. It was like going to visit my grandma's house. The service was excellent. All of the Ladies were awesome and sweet, very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We ended staying an additional day. I would definitely stay there again.

Dear Guest; New management took over in March but your stay was in February?I am sorry that you did not have the same owners and managers as last visit, But things change and from all our other reviews all our guest for the better and are coming back and love the small changes that have been made here at the Beautiful Agustin Inn,We know that change is hard for some people when it comes to visiting friends of the old management, I did not have any negative comments during your stay that I could address and fix at any point during your stay,Which I would happily done if given a chance, As far as our Happy hour it is put out everyday at 4pm to 5pm 2 BRANDS OF BEER AND WHITE AND A RED WINE, with meat and cheese crackers as well fruit and veggies.We have never served the same menu 2 days in a row as we have created a 7 day menu that rotates every 8th day.

My stay at the inn was fantastic! Parking was easy. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Leah was fantastic when we arrived and very informative. Location was great as we were able to walk everywhere with ease. I would definitely stay here again!

Let's start with the positives, the staff and location are excellent. The breakfasts were very good. Now the downside, when I walked in the room and saw that they had provided 2 pairs of ear plugs I new something wasn't quite right. The bar right outside our window had live entertainment every night which was extremely loud. It was very loud so thank goodness the TV could keep up. A large fence or wall is definitely needed. I was also not a fan of the "vendor" out front with his large family of snakes.

Great location. Otherwise, blah!
We had high hopes for our 4 night stay at the Augustin Inn but were sadly disappointed. Instead of charming ambiance we got threadbare stair runners, room furniture that might have been new in 1954 and a breakfast room better suited ambiance-wise to a Motel 6 than to a B&B. Instead of to-die-for-breakfasts we got out-of-the-carton from concentrate OJ, dishwater coffee, and unidentifiable, barely edible, hot dishes better suited to a soup kitchen than to a B&B. No fresh fruit. No fresh pastries. Not a single dish where you'd day, "I gotta get that recipe". There was a smart TV in our room but Netflix was available only because "Wayne", a previous occupant no doubt, had logged in to his account and hadn't logged out when he left. A similar shout-out to "Cynthia" for Hulu. I'm guessing that the premium TV line-up varies room by room with little, if any, of it courtesy of the Augustin Inn. Is it a total disaster? No. The mattress on our bed was comfortable, and the location can't be beat. With some effort and investment, the Augustin Inn could be fabulous. But it's a long way from fabulous today.

This is a great place to stay in St. Augustine. St George Street is just steps away from your door. The Breakfast was great and the staff was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I didn’t like was the loud music playing every night at the property next door. It usually stopped around 9:00 so it wasn’t to bad. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a great location if you want to walk around the historic area. The bands that plays outside the hotel only plays until 10pm on week nights so it didn’t bother us. We usually go listen to the music anyway. The staff leaves around 6pm so they just leave the check in instructions if you haven’t arrived by then. The breakfast was fine also plenty of food to buy just around the corner. The downsides.. we tried to use the jacuzzi tub but couldn’t get the water hot enough. Only one thermostat in the hallway for the floor. The carpet could use replacing/cleaning in some rooms and stairs. For the price and availability it was good.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Agustin Inn. Our rooms were charming & comfortable, & Rose (general manager) & the rest of the staff were very friendly & helpful. Also, the location was perfect & was very close to St. George St. The gourmet breakfast was delicious! We are seniors, & Rose let us have her parking space so that we wouldn’t have to walk a long distance to & from another lot.

I really wish I knew that an outside stage was right next to the property on an adjoining lot before I booked. The property and everything about it was wonderful. The awful cover bands that played until midnight were decidedly less so.

We pride ourselves on providing a delicious breakfast each morning for our guests and we are very fortunate to be located here in the heart of the historic district of St. Augustine. Due to our central location off of St. George Street, the connecting businesses have talented live musicians that play outdoors until 10pm on Sunday through Thursday evenings and then 11pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. Live music is a central part of our historical city. Our Inn is over one hundred years old which gives us so many unique characteristics. With that, we have 18 rooms that have full-on suites with either a king size bed or a queen size bed. We appreciate the uniqueness of our century old Inn. Thank you so much for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

Location is excellent, right next to St George St. Some of the rooms overlook an outdoor bar with live music. We thought this might be annoying but the music was enjoyable and not too late in the night. The rooms are small, with some lower ceilings at the roof, bathroom was huge with a nice tub. Overall an enjoyable trip, would stay again

Loud Music
The room was clean. However, the hotel pictures you post do not look anything like the reality. In addition, we were met with earplugs in the table which puzzled us until we heard the music from outside our window directly downstairs. This music was LOUD and didn’t end until the rain stem came about 9pm night 1. Night 2, the music directly below our room stopped around 10 pm however to our north, another loud band from another bar was playing. We didn’t see this in the description nor were we told anything about this at check in.
