Looks can be deceiving It was a Wonderful place clean and quiet nice to sit outside in a lovely country setting Gentleman who checked us in was helpful and gave us a great suggestion for dinner

Very irresponsible and unprofessional. We waited for more than an hour outside the motel office to check in but never got response even after dozens of calls, ringing doorbell and knocking office door. We could see TV playing inside, but no one responded to us. We eventually had to book another hotel miles away in the middle of the night, and they never even called us back.

The room was very cosy and well decorated. It was equiped with coffee machine, fridge and microwave, exactly what you need after a day in Sequoia NP.

Not a fancy resort… close to the national park and easy to find. Found a pretty big spider in the room but hey it’s the woods. No other issues and the room was very clean. I’ve stayed in far worse places for more than this room cost. Overall id say it’s a good place for a night if you’re in the area.

It's a nice quiet hotel. The bathroom had some issues in our room. Faucet was not running properly and toilet flapper wouldn't seat itself so had to take the tank lid off and flap it down every time we used the toilet. I did enjoy the area. Lots of birds and peaceful. Internet was great and beds were comfortable.

It was fine, and there are not many options in the area. The rooms were very small but clean. The grounds could be nice if cleaned up. Our room was in front, close to the road, and very noisy by 6 am. There were also a group of people talking very loudly outside our room at 5:30 am.

Enjoyed our night at Squaw Valley Motel!
Don’t let looks deceive you! The room was very small but had what we needed for a comfortable nights stay. The bathroom had been updated which was nice. The air conditioner in the window needs cleaned up but it worked and we slept well. Check in and out was easy and they had the nicest dog that followed us around the property. We even had their newly redone swimming pool to ourselves!

Very cute little motel, extremely friendly and heldpful owner. Nice pool. Parking directly in front of your room. It is small, but very clean and comfy. The bathroom is modern. We like it very much.

The room was very comfortable and great shower, but the lobby was closed when we arrived even if we arrive during the check-in in time, so we have to wait 15 minutes for the person in charge of the lobby to be back from his house even if we have confirm our arrival time. It was disappointing to have to wait after a long trip to be able to enter the room after having confirmed our arrival time.

35-40 minutes down a single road to the Big Stump entrance at King’s Canyon National Park, which made it the perfect launching pad for adventures around the Sequoias. Room was tiny but quiet, clean, and with what appeared to be a brand new, tiled, stand up shower. Perfect for one or two guests.

Nice motel!
We stayed here a night before going into Kings Canyon, nice motel room. Comfy to sleep in, so it served it's purpose well. The room was warm when you first go in, however there's an air conditioner, so that's no problem! You can make coffee in your room, and the breakfast served is little packaged breakfast bars or oatmeal. The owner was very nice to talk to. If I stay in the area again I'd book here again.

Property was old and run down, but the room itself was clean and air conditioned. Pool was empty, no water and not sure if it’s being worked on or what. Breakfast was limited.

Sorry that you found our facility old. The motel was built in 1950 and is one of the original motorcourts in California. We have tried to rennovate our facility to original standards, giving you the taste of the old days but with some modern conveniences. The pool is in the process of being rennovated and we hope to have that completed in the next couple of weeks.
