"Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people. "Staying at the Stream Side Country Manor is a ABSOLUTE MUST. It’s not just a stay, It’s an experience like no other. If you are thinking of going to Hobbiton then this place is the perfect retreat. The house is full of character, built using 10th century carpentry techniques the joints and beams are held together with pegs. It is cosy and stylish, a beautiful house in a wonderful farm setting. I would absolutely stay here again!"
