The Full Moon Inn

"Excellent location: quiet and convenient for Longleat. Spacious room with mini fridge that had juice, water and fresh milk, much appreciated! Comfortable bed and really big. Nice bathroom with all you need, even cotton buds! Excellent shower. Delicious breakfast, full English cooked to order. Really nice pub with delicious food, especially the pork bap. Definitely recommend. Negatives: Room not very clean, lots of dust everywhere that clearly had not been cleaned for a while; that was disappointing. TV signal rubbish so could not watched much. Despite the negatives, I would stay again though."

"An excellent stay with a large well decorated comfortable room with a super king bed. Strong shower. Dinner was very tasty and we had the cheese and onion pie and gnocchi. Bar staff were very attentive. This was a great place to stay"

"A lovely old building, full of character, nooks and crannies. It is a bit tired, but is being updated by the owners as money will allow. It is friendly and welcoming, and I just love the old world ambience. And it is half the price of the local Premier Inn. Parking onsite is included and there is a nice breakfast in the wonderful Library room. There is also an indoor swimming pool which I have used. All in all it is quirky and charming and very good value."

"We had a lovely stay at this house. One thing to mention, the house is situated in the middle of a busy traffic island, it is set back but when sitting outside you can hear the traffic! The lounge was very comfortable as was the dining room and kitchen well equips. We did have to clean the dishwasher filter!!!Hot tub was a nice added bonus, although there were only five towels and four robes and there was six of us staying!There are three storeys to this house, two bedrooms are on the top storey up quite steep stairs. The bedroom on the first floor at the back of the house, you couldn’t open the window and although there was a fan it was really noisy so the room was very hot.Not all the welcome pack was there when we arrived but we messaged host and extra bits were delivered."
