"This place i think is mostly for university students living away frim home. The rooms have everything one needs, ecm en a small kitchen with stovetop fridge and microwave. A wardibe with room to hang dresses not just a short one. A desk and co fy bed. And a tv i never used. A nice size bathroom with a great shower. Paid parking inside a locked gate and only nine or 10 minutes from the old Center. I loved it here."

"For a short stop Enroute to France with our dogs it served a purpose and the grounds are beautifully maintained, a little out of San Sebastián and only 15 mins by car. Seems well connected by bus too. Swimming pool is a bonus. I didn’t feel the cabin meet my expectations, outside furniture was grotty and the sofa felt similar. Wifi didn’t work in the cabin either and the shower head wouldn’t stay up on the wall either. So I didn’t value for money was there."

"This is an Axel hotel so I expected certain amenities and support. The room was great and spacious, as well as finely equipped. The pool area was good but lacked services like food and drinks. There was no rooftop scene to get into at night. Recommendations about bars and nightlife were severely lacking. There were a couple small touches at the pool area, like a small glass of champagne was served once while I was there. Could be an amazing property with a few enhancements being made. Location cannot be beat. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! The property and area very safe day and night. There were a few restaurants right around the corner with a very local vibe."

Perfectly located directly across from the iconic Guggenheim Museum, this 5-star property doesn’t just offer a place to sleep—it immerses you in art, design, and Bilbao’s vibrant energy from the moment you arrive. The location is unbeatable. Waking up to sweeping views of Frank Gehry’s architectural wonder right outside your window (especially from the higher floors or suites) is pure magic. The hotel’s design, a collaboration featuring artist Javier Mariscal, feels like an extension of the Guggenheim itself. The interiors are a stunning museum of 20th-century furniture and bold, whimsical details—think curated art installations, thoughtful contemporary touches, and spaces that spark creativity at every turn. "Everything was great. Only problem was our air conditioning wasn’t working and it was super hot that day and night. Did complain about it, as it was so late when we checked in they couldn’t do anything. Staff were kind and helpful. Would stay here again next time, hopefully the air conditioning will work."

"Iconic hotel on La Concha beach. Can't beat the location! Staff is amazing. Breakfast buffet so yummy, although not inexpensive. The restaurant and bar staff on point. Front desk team helpful. Concierge, while a lovely person, gave a few recommendations that were "duds." The hotel is "older" and we had some issues with our air conditioning maintenance responded changed filters, but it never got to a temperature that was cool enough for us; but it was also a heatwave, so I assume the system was stressed out. We had an ocean view which was amazing although the room itself was smaller than expected. Large bathroom! Overall, great stay!"
