The staff were pleasant and accommodating.The room was clean and comfortable. The town of Southampton was in easy, safe walking distance. It was a 5 minute walk to the cruise ship.

Needed to leave 2 days early to get to London. Asked at desk if there is a penalty fee and was told it is 60GBS. But since i made the reservations thru Expedia they would not refund anything so the fee was basically $600 for the already booked room. Never staying at a Hoiday Inn again

I didn't like that the gate from the cruise ship really close was locked and I had to walk a long way around to get to you, not your fault. Elevators were slow. People were very nice and helpful.

A really nice hotel. Only minor complaints are that the elevators were too slow (which caused issues around mealtimes and at checkout) and the area has a lot of traffic noise (especially if you have the windows open).

The room and bathrooms were very clean, but the hallway carpets have stains and are a bit run down. There are only 2 small elevators for the guests, so it takes time to go up and down the building.

Karol at reception was excellent and really made our stay exceeding expectations. My partner was sick and Karol was most helpful. Surprisingly restaurant had good food and wait staff were friendly and helpful given staff shortages

MORE importantly, this hotel exemplifies superior customer service! Staff sre warm, friendly, snd go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The on-site restaurant offersa deliciois buffet breakfast, all-day food, and evening meals. There is a direct line to the local taxi company. A multitide of shopping opportunites and assortedrestaurants of every type are within easy walking distance. The manager, Warren, and his well-trained staff are ready to assist in any way. Confortable, spacious rooms and great beds ensure a terrific night's sleep. 10 out of 10!

Good location hotel needs refurb which I believe Is due to be done soon. Food is good staff are nice.
